The communication with the host was excellent. Check in and out was easy. And the sinks, tubs, and toilet bowls were acceptably clean. Beds were comfortable, and the house is cute. However, this house needs a thorough deep clean. We found massive cobwebs under furniture and in corners. The baseboards are filthy. There is food on the dining room curtains, and furniture is stained. Kitchen cabinet doors have drips all over them and the floor was sticky in places. We also found several dishes in the cabinet that had food stuck on them. We did contact the host after several days when we kept finding more and more really dirty areas. They apologized and offered to send someone to clean, but we declined because it would take a crew of people hours to really rectify the situation. We received a call at the end of our stay asking for feedback. We told them all the same things. Their response was there was nothing they could do since we had already checked out. They did offer a "small discount" on a future stay. I don't think we are going to take them up on that.
