Relax and enjoy this peaceful log cabin with modern amenities. A spacious home with plenty of room both inside and out, with close proximity to the city of Glen Rose. Unwind on the large, back porch or nap in the swinging bed! The cabin is big enough for one family or even two! (Kids room w/bunk beds and crib included) The open views, plentiful wildlife, and slow pace will make for a peaceful and quiet get away. Country living 12 miles south of Glen Rose. Pet friendly with a PET FEE of $25/NIGHT.

We were in town for a cattle show, and it was so nice to have this beautiful home to come to at the end of a long day. Beautiful sunsets, wildlife, bugling, elk, and an exquisite home.Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

First off Thank you for allowing us to use this beautifull perfect space, If I could afford it I would buy this place!!! The cabin itself is beautifull, the area is serene, the stars are bright and the peace in this cabin is beyond words. Very private, you cannot hear or see anyone. The cabin is very aesthetic, wood, beams and tile flooring throughout. And quite spacious and high ceilings. There is a very nice fireplace as well. The internet works quite well and the owners have provided just about anything you could think of.

The entire place was clean with a large living room. The bedrooms had numerous options to sleep and were comfortable. A very peaceful enjoyable weekend! For a group of guys that just wanted to relax and play golf it was perfect. I will be back again.

Awesome Lodge style home

Enjoyed the house. Had everything we needed. Tons of towels and dishes and all the little things you could need on a long weekend stay. Only weird issue is the master closet has been converted to a bedroom. Not a big issue, except the closet uses a sheer curtain instead of a door and opens right out to the master shower. Incredible property, thank you very much for the hospitality

Quiet and Peaceful Retreat

The property was perfect for our young kids and pup. Communication was clear and check in/out was easy. The location is ideal for a quiet and peaceful getaway. Our kids loved feeding the deer and taking walks on the property. The main living space in the cabin is spacious and open with a beautiful fireplace.Other benefits of the location include its proximity to Fossil Rim, Big Rocks Park, and many other activities for families. Although our intention was to "unplug" and get away, the wifi was reliable for the times it was necessary to plug in!
