It's a really nice place, and it's super quiet, even though it's near the train tracks, but the sound's not bad. The kitchen, bathroom, and rooms are all well-equipped and pretty decent. Just a heads-up, it's an older house, so you can hear the wood creaking when you walk. The rent was a steal compared to other places around here, and Ben, the host, is super nice and helpful. He answered everything I needed right away while I was there.
We had an amazing stay here. The property is three levels, the main floor is the living area with the kitchen. The kitchen was very clean, and had all the cooking utensils/pans needed for us to enjoy a family dinner. The middle floor is the bathroom, laundry, and master. Newer/updated washer dryer was very nice, water pressure and temp in bathroom was perfect. Bed was very comfy! Third level was 2 bedrooms with three beds, was a perfect size for our family, everyone was very comfortable and safe in a perfect part of town. All photos do the property justice, a very cozy and comfortable place, would highly recommend, would love to come back and visit again!
Our sisters weekend was perfect and this spot made it that much better!! The location was low key and close to all of our destinations which were easily accessible by car or Uber. The beds and the blankets were extremely comfortable and cozy and the house overall was was perfect for us.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
The location and house itself were fine, but the property was extremely close to train tracks that woke us up several times each night. The real issue, however, was the lack of cleanliness. Before arrival, the owner mentioned there would be a light mint scent in the downstairs kitchen, but instead we found two mouse traps under the sink and the house smelled strongly of pet urine. The owner did not tell us about these mouse traps and how we had young children, that would’ve presented a real safety hazard. We also discovered an exposed nail head and long black hair in the bathroom. After we reported this, the owner did come by the next morning to address these items. There were cobwebs in the bathroom vanities, the washing machine was full of black mold and smelled terrible, the beds all had a thick layer of dust underneath, and the refrigerator contained crumbs. Upon checkout, the owner even mentioned finding a library book that wasn’t ours—further evidence the home had not been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. We requested a refund of the cleaning deposit, but the owner refused, saying our standards were too high. While he did resolve the two issues we raised immediately, we should not have had to deal with so many cleanliness concerns during a vacation stay. Unfortunately, we would not return to this property.
