Let's start with the sliding door in the rarethat doesn't lock. Up as tairs bathroom has mold. The basement was covered with water. All but three lights worked in the rearNothing wZs mentioned about bears. The beds were worn not good at all Had to leave a day early because of a death in the family. Host was super responsive, and accomodating to our early checkin request. Houses always look better in pictures than they do in person, but we are overall happy with our stay. Will say, the general surrounding area was less than scenic, and a lot of trash around the entirety of the neighborhood, but all we needed was a place to sleep while we hit up resorts during the day, so would give a good review.

The heater was not working properly. When I tried contacting the host the first time, he did not answer. However, when my husband called from a different number, he answered immediately.The property was cleaned properly only after we reached there — before that, it was in terrible condition. The hot bathtub was also not available as expected.The location of the property is good, but overall, I did not enjoy the stay as much as I expected to.

Weekend Get A Way

Great accomodation and communication with host. Close to groceries but rustic enough for a campfire. We spent a good time together over meals and bbq and experienced Kalahari water park close by. Great trip would recommend bringing some toiletries and extra towels but everything else was there.

2 night stay. Did a quick walk through when I arrived… some imperfections but you can tell they are in the middle of renovations… I communicated my concerns with the host and he was very responsive. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everyone we would need! House is tucked back into a development so you are away from the noise but also close enough to everything if you were to need something.Would definitely book again.

Overall I had a great experience at this property. I also really enjoyed seeing wildlife walking through the property early in the morning. The only thing that could have made the entire experience a lot better was maybe not showing up to the house with garbage all over the lawn but that might have just happened because wildlife probably knocked over the garbage can.
