Spread over three floors, the interior is thoughtfully decorated to contrast with the style of the property, from the mullion windows, high vaulted ceilings and exposed country beams, to the quirky household accessories and bright and cheerful colour schemes. The shades of white cast over the rooms upstairs add a sleek, quality finish to the property. The blue sitting room showcases a luxurious sofa and elegant seating arrangement, focusing on the charming wood burner in the inglenook of the room.
The quiet cottage comfortably sleeps up to 8 people spread throughout 4 bedrooms. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, both of which have en-suite bathrooms. The spacious master bedroom has a luxurious super king bed and the second bedroom has the option of 2 single beds or a super king size bed. The top floor has a further 2 bedrooms, sharing 1 large bathroom. Again, one of the top floor bedrooms has a super king size bed and the other has the option of 2 singles or 1 super king size bed.
Concluding the interior in a fashionable manner is the large farmhouse kitchen and breakfast table; combined with contemporary fixtures, white units and modern artwork; the room entices you with a homely feel. Step out into the small west-facing courtyard, enclosed by a stone wall, it is beautifully presented with a flourish of wild plants.
Other things to note Please note that the property does not have any electric vehicle charging facilities, but there are communal charging points in the village.
The kitchen has a new range cooker and a large fridge but there is limited freezer space (small freezer compartment). There is a separate 6 bottle wine cooler.

Him and his partner wanted a place in the West Country and bought this place in 2017 after falling in love with Sherston. Rupert is really passionate about the house and area and loves sharing it with guests.

The house has all the quirks of a Grade II* listed building – ancient beams and mullioned windows – and it’s smack in the middle of a charming Cotswolds village. Sunny mornings are for coffee in the courtyard and wandering round Sherston’s quaint streets. Plan a countryside walk with the inn’s maps, stroll through the Arboretum, or visit pretty Tetbury – its boutiques and antiques are a 15-minute drive.
