I almost never write negative reviews, but if you’re considering this property and have any other option, take the other option. This stay was extremely disappointing and far below what you would expect for the price.We have been traveling to Beaupré for more than 10 years and often stay in the nearby Ferreol-les-Neiges area. This year we decided to spend more for what appeared to be a nicer, higher-end home. Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the worst rental experiences we’ve had. The issues were numerous:1. Broken dishwasher on arrivalThe dishwasher was broken and full of dirty dishes sitting in rancid, putrid water. We had to wash not only the previous renters’ dishes but also four days’ worth of meals for eight people entirely by hand.2. No basic suppliesThere were no paper towels in the house and only about one and a half rolls of toilet paper for eight guests. After a nine-hour drive, instead of relaxing we had to immediately go out to buy basic necessities.3. Entryway hooks falling out of the wallThe vestibule has coat hooks, but most of them were literally pulling out of the wall and couldn’t support even a light jacket.4. No storage in bedroomsThe two ground-floor bedrooms have no closets or dressers at all, meaning you are living out of a suitcase the entire stay.5. Broken window shadesThe bedroom shades didn’t work, so we had to block the light with towels and clothing.6. Shower deteriorationThe seal around the ground-f
