This beautiful Off-grid, standalone house is located 10m to the beach, where sound of the sea relaxes and gives a special touch to your holiday. Large terrace, and barbecue with sea view makes it ideal for summer relaxing days and nights with your family and friends. For entertainment, there is Vis and Komiža with a rich culture, nightlife and a variety of recreation. .
The house is 100% off-grid, powered by solar panels for energy and hot water, and is located in a remote cove in the beautiful Island of Vis. The house is more than 200 years old, fisherman cottage, completly renowated with key green principals of minimal disturbance to the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape, use of renewable resources, and living simply and minimally.
The setting of the house is remote and serene, a quiet refuge from everything, free from distractions.
There is no air-condition, and limited wi-fi on provided house cellphone, so that one can truly experience being in a place of extreme natural beauty, and take note of the play of light and shadow, and other natural phenomena.
Interaction owner/guest is primarily via messaging, mobile phone with local SIM card is available.
Getting around
Public transport on island is very limited, so own or rental car is recommend. Distance from Town of Vis is 8km, last 2km are on dirt road, 4 wheel drive is not required.There is 200m walk downhill on rocky road ( you have to carry luggage, not for suitcases on wheels) to the house from the big parking.
