We loved staying at this property. The house is clean and very bright with lots of windows. The neighborhood is quiet and has many trails for walking. We used this as a central location to access several biking locations nearby.
We loved this vrbo! The location, how well stocked the kitchen is, the cleanliness, how close it.was to short hikes and the fact it is pet friendly all contribute to our 5 star rating.
This was such a lovely house. Cozy, clean, peaceful. I stayed with my daughter while visiting her at college, but could have easily fit my family of 4. Torrey, the owner, is kind and easy to connect with when I had a question. I would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us, Jade! You were such great guests and we hope you stay with us again
We had a lovely stay! The area and neighborhood were very nice. The house was very clean and comfortable! Moved my son from KS to WA so it’s nice to know there’s a peacefully comfortable place to stay when we visit!
Very well furnished, quiet and extremely clean home. Very responsive owner when we had problems with the keyless entry. Grateful they allowed our two mature dogs. Recommended.
We stayed at Torrey's place for a last-minute trip to Bellingham, and were welcomed by a super clean house equipped with everything we could've needed. The beds were supportive and comfy, the living room was generous and relaxed, and the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies. Torrey was responsive and friendly in all of our communications with her, making everything as easy as possible for us. We highly recommend this rental!
Lovely unit on a quiet street in Sudden Valley. Pet owners note that the stairs to the front door are metal grates, which our dog didn't like, so we just picked him up to take him up and down the stairs. Not a problem for us!The unit is clean, spacious, cozy, and well appointed. We had everything we needed. We did have a little trouble getting checked in, but Torrey was extremely responsive and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!
We highly recommend this VRBO; the host was extremely helpful, and everything was better than expected. We checked in late, the lights were on, and the place was welcoming. I have rented several homes, and this was the best one I have ever been to. It was clean, well stocked, and had quality linens and towels. It is tucked away in the trees; we feel peaceful, and the neighborhood is quiet. Even though it was during the winter, we had no problems getting to the location and found it convenient to Bellingham. We highly recommend this unit, and you will be pleased with how nicely it is kept.
We were unable to stay at this place due to plumbing issues. We were informed 1 hour before we arrived. This was very disappointing. The location was pretty but I was under the impression it was an entire house, not an upper unit.

I am so sorry about this Pam. I wish every stay was absolutely perfect, and I do all that I can to ensure that, but sometimes things are out of my control. If I could have given you more warning, I most certainly would have. I hope you were able to find a suitable place to stay, instead.
Gorgeous place, great host, not the right place for me
This was a gorgeous place to stay, both the home and the location. Great price for all that it came with. The host was very responsive, and the home had everything I could think to need. Unfortunately, it didn’t work well for me because my dog is terrified of grates, and I didn’t realize the stairs would be grated, so getting into and out of the house was a nightmare. We ended up sliding down the steep hill to avoid the first set of stairs and buying a ramp to help him up the second set of stairs. The beds were also really hard, so I had a hard time sleeping.I don’t think either of these issues should deter anyone else from staying. I know now to ask a lot of questions when I’m bringing my dog with me on trips. But FYI if your dog doesn’t do see-through stairs that this might not work for you.

Sorry to hear that you weren’t completely satisfied, Tara. We have plenty of dog owners stay with us and haven’t heard that, yet! Since it’s such a heavily treed area, non-grated steps become deadly with the moss growth. Perhaps in the spring, once the soil dries up, we can look into creating a ramp for dogs. I’m sorry that it was an inconvenience for you and your dog. Sorry, too, that you didn’t find the beds comfortable. We spent a lot of time finding a comfortable mattress for the space and definitely didn’t go for economical options. I suppose beds are a very personal-preference item, though. Either way, thank you so much for staying with us!
Everything was clean and comfortable and well-appointed (kitchen, bedding, bathroom). The communication with Torrey was great and much appreciated. The deck was a great space for us and the pictures captured the beautiful space and lighting. We are very hopeful to stay there again. Thanks again to Torrey for being so welcoming.
