About this property

This charming 3 bedroom/2bath apartment is steps away from the plaza, arts and cultural district, restaurants, shopping and nightlife in the center of Historic Downtown Taos. Located on the 2nd story of one of the oldest buildings in Taos, you will see views of downtown and Taos Mountain from every window. Enjoy dining, famous New Mexico sunsets, and stargazing on the 400 sq ft rooftop deck.

Pet friendly, we welcome one pet. There is a $75 pet fee per visit. Please add your pet before booking.

The space:
1250 sq ft with a spacious living, dining and kitchen area. Primary bedroom has a king bed, large windows and a TV. Second bedroom has a queen bed, the third bedroom has two twin beds. Hardwood floors, kiva fireplace, two skylights, 50 GB fiber internet service and two parking spaces are just outside the door.

Other things to note:
The space is in an urban area overlooking the quaint patio of the Rolling Still Lounge. In summer you will hear music in the courtyard several nights a week. In the colder months there is live music most Tuesday & Thursday nights from 6-8pm. You will be steps away from enjoying cocktails from the only craft distillery in Taos!

Taos is not a late-night town and tends to shut down by 10pm most nights. The Lounge is open until 10:30pm Fridays & Saturdays but don't worry--you will always get a good night's sleep. We want you to enjoy your stay so please reach out if you need anything.

Pre-holiday family time

Exactly as described and perfect for my family of 4 with 2 young adults. We wanted a quick trip before Christmas and Taos fit the bill! The condo is over a bar, but the noise is minimal. The location is perfect for exploring everything in and around Taos.

Accommodating with great location!

Enjoyed a girls trip in the heart of downtown Toas. Apartment had so much character and enough space as well as enough accommodations for myself and friends. Absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home within walking distance of shops, food, and a great local coffee shop.

The Perfect Taos Spot

The Debor House worked out perfectly for us. In Taos for a family wedding, it was large enough for people to stop by & visit. Plenty of room for meals, well equipped kitchen, comfortable set up, close to everything. We will definitely rent again if we are in Taos.

Excellent Apt Downtown

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful halloween in Taos. It was great being so close to everything in the Plaza since there was construction so walking was ideal. Since it was close to everything this worked perfectly for us. It was great being right outside of the action and when we got tired it was easy to go hack to the cute apartment and relax. We even cooked a dinner the first night and it was a great kitchen to cook in!

Great property

Overall the property was fantastic. Great location. Terri the property manager was beyond amazing. Was very attentive and helpful. Only downside, and not much of one, was the bar below had music going well after midnight. You get used to it, but if your bedtime is before 10pm, its tough. Would rent again knowing what to expect.

We have been coming to Taos for 25 years, first as vacationeers' to the surrounding areas. We discovered we spent most of our time in Taos, so bought our first family vacation home not far from where we are now. However, we still wanted to be in town. When we had the opportunity to purchase this wonderful old property we could not resist. Owning a piece of Taos history is an honor and privilege for us. We love being able to walk through the galleries and shops at our leisure. Then stoping in at one of our favorite restaurants for lunch or margaritas and nachos with friends. If we want to venture out to go site seeing or ski it is easier from town, we can be most anywhere within a 30 minute to an hours drive. We love to go do all the things the surrounding areas have to offer and then come back to town and still have so many options for dinner and entertainment.

Why they chose this property

This location is Taos, the best of NM. It is all right here, plenty of year-round activities. Our Rooftop apartment in the heart of Taos's Historic and Arts District puts you in the midst of it all. Everything is within steps of our apartment, yet no one knows you are there, hidden in plain view! Our apartment encompasses the second story of the original Travelers Hotel (circa early 1900's). Even though we are right downtown you can still enjoy magnificent mountain views and Taos sunsets on the oversized deck or through the windows.

What makes this property unique

The best aspects about this apartment are its size and location. You are right downtown, within walking distance to the Historic Plaza, the best restaurants, nighttime entertainment, art galleries, shopping, all that Taos has to offer. This is a home with everything you need, with plenty of room for your family and friends. A downtown space of this size that can accommodate six guest is very rare, especially with off street parking.
