We enjoyed the comfortable rooms and beautiful scenery. The house is equipped with all the comforts of home. We relaxed, played games, watched movies, and enjoyed our long weekend away. There's plenty to do nearby, all within a 15-30 minute drive. We would definitely stay again!
We loved our stay here! It was a beautiful house and property, and super convenient for us as we had come to compete at a horse show just down the road. Catherine was very communicative the whole time, and the house had lots of small thoughtful details and touches for both the humans (full multi-option coffee bar!) and my dog (biscuits set out for him!). We would absolutely stay again.
We stayed on this beautiful farm for nearly three months, awaiting and welcoming the birth of our son. The setting was magical--330 acres of fresh air, open spaces for our dogs, and peaceful scenery. The guest house was comfortable and perfect for us and visiting family. But the true highlight was Cathy, the host. Her warmth, generosity, and support made this experience unforgettable. We now consider her family! If you're looking for a long stay where you feel truly cared for, this is the place.
Lovely accommodations! The home was roomy, clean and had everything we needed. The wooded setting was relaxing but yet close enough to the interstate. Host was very hospitable. Definitely will stay here again!!
This was great, could easily put the technology down and enjoy the outside, read or listen to music peacefully. Great place to go to get lost for a long weekend!!
A quiet, comfortable, and calming setting is exactly what was needed after an arduous day of travel and this fabulous farmhouse delivered. My only disappointment was not being about to stay longer.
We were put out of our home due to flood, and this home and host were a breath of fresh air! We’ve never been to a place that was so warm and hospitable. 5 stars plus! We live in Prospect, but would likely reserve again for a weekend getaway! Our kids got to hike, and were able to see the bees/the way honey is collected. Absolutely amazing!
The stay at this property is my second. The house is located on a farm in Goshen, Ky and thus is quite peaceful. It is a 40 minute drive to Louisville. The house is very clean and inviting. It has a wonderful sleepmaster bed in the master bedroom and an overhead fan to keep it cool. The kitchen is well equipped and the host provides some snacks and lots of coffee choices. The main living room is spacious and inviting. The front porch offers a place to relax and listen to the sounds of nature. The host is accommodating abd responsive and quite nice. The house accepts pets, though I didn’t have one. I can’t wait to return.
