The home was very nice -- attractive style throughout with comfortable, clean rooms and baths. Location is terrific: 15 minutes from downtown and airport, 5 minutes from a nice grocery store, and less than an hour from Joshua Tree National Park, which is a true American treasure. Chilly, windy week so we didn't swim, but that would have been terrific too.

My family and I stayed over for a week during spring break. When we booked it, there were no reviews. So we didn’t have any expectations. The only negatives are one, it can get loud. It must be next to the airport runway because planes are flying as early as way before 6 am and sometimes after 10 pm. If you are easily awakened by noises then I don’t think this property will be suitable for you.Two, I dislike having hotel/motel mini sizes toiletries and having to buy every little thing. We had to buy soaps and shower gel because the ones they provided were like the miniature ones. I also don’t think I’d have to buy stuff like foils and cling wraps. A household should have those. Three, my family stayed in the master bedroom in the main house. They complained that due to the lack of curtains or blinds at the top windows, you have no choice but to get up once the sun is shining cause it gets bright. Positives, the rental property manager was very responsive. Everything can be done online. Early check in? Late check out? Pay online. We had a little snafu at the end because we requested late check out and paid. We didn’t hear back so we thought everything was good only to be told that it wasn’t possible. It was a mad scramble as we were about to leave.The property was clean. Pool was maintained. We didn’t have to deal with taking the trash cans out coz they had people who did it. Overall, would stay here again but with earplugs.
