Great Mountain Getaway

We had a lovely quick weekend stay. It is close to the resort for golf, swimming and pickleball and a quick drive to local shops and restaurants, or fishing and hiking.

Cozy and out of the way

It was fun staying at their renovated mobile home. The inside has been upgraded a lot. New cabinets, stove, granite-style countertops, new floor, new reclining couches, refurbished bathroom, etc. It looks like the entire inside has been remodeled. It was warm and cozy, very comfortable. And at the end of a narrow one-lane road, we had no traffic at all, very quiet. There is also a large deck with great amenities for entertaining a group or stargazing at night. Unfortunately we were there in winter, 20 degrees, so we didn't get to use it very much. Maybe our next visit! The property is very close to the Timber Lakes resort and hot springs pool, which was fantastic. Well within walking distance or a quick drive. Overall, it was a very nice getaway from the city.

Maybe try to find another place

Quaint little rental. Driveway is straight up and down requires 4 wheel drive. Don't slip on the mud path to the house. The rain and snow will drop on you as you enter because the roof is full of needles that has not been cleaned in a decade. Checkin instructions for key location are horrible. Keep looking until you locate them. The homeowner did not view my question as to how to locate the keys until the next day. Bring your own drinking water as the water smells of sulfur. Our dogs refused to drink it. Long black dog hair found throughout; Floors, shower, rugs, and throw blankets.
