We really enjoyed staying here! The room was just outside the elevator, which we were nervous about, but it was quiet overall. It was convenient to the subway station and within walking distance of many things to see and do! Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful neighborhood close to subway, park, grocery store and restaurants. Staff was helpful and warm. Room was very clean and comfortable. Kitchenette is a nice addition. Will definitely stay here again.

Great Room and Superb location!

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Beacon. Staff were very nice, professional and helpful. Room was clean with all amenities listed. Location was excellent and close to mass transit. Felt safe throughout neighborhood. Grocery store, cafes, restaurants and shopping all along Broadway and Columbus. Will return. Very good value!!!

Wonderful Stay in NYC

From first to last, the stay at the Beacon was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotless, the room was bigger than the photo indicated, it was quiet: it was perfect! I was shocked! We will be staying at the BH whenever we return to NYC. Thank you, Beacon!

UWS Perfection!

The Beacon is always our go to when in NYC. Victoria’s listing made it even more affordable than the hotel’s rates this go around. Nice quiet studio around the corner from the elevators. Highly recommend and will use again!

Nice studio

Hotel is in a nice location. Shops and restaurants close early in this area. Room is located across from 3 elevators (so it gets pretty noisy) you can hear the noise from subway while your in bathroom.

Cancelled by owner/manger at last minute

In under 24 hours from check-in, my reservation was cancelled without any assistance to move me to a similar property, nor was my refund available to use towards a different rental. It was disappointing, frustrating, and demonstrated poor management decisions for this property.
