There isn’t a “kitchen” but a minimum amenity was there and that was enough for me. Lots of dining options nearby. A quiet neighborhood and separate entry. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

July 4th Vacation

This was our first time getting a VRBO while coming up for a family July 4th party. Everything was great. The space was clean and very comfortable and looked just like the pictures. It was only 5 minutes from our family’s house and very easy to find and in a nice neighborhood. The host was great and very easy to communicate with.

Clean; Good location

A clean and spacious place to stay in a quiet residential neighborhood. Easy to access. Nice amenities. I didn't get a chance to use the pool table. Thanks for the hospitality.

This “studio apartment” is actually the basement of the hosts’ home, which was not disclosed. Check-in times sent conflicted, once permitted to enter I had to lift a heavy roller bag up over a ledge and down a very steep staircase—unsafe and difficult. Noise from upstairs (TV, loud voices, footsteps, barking dog) lasted past 2am both nights. The host first apologized and offered late checkout, then deleted that message and replaced it with one requiring departure at 11am for an 11am cleaning crew. I was also told to empty baskets and bring out my own trash upon departure. Thermostat was controlled upstairs by the hosts. The unit was damp (70% humidity, musty/moldy odor), and pillow shams smelled unwashed. The “apartment with kitchen” was only a mini fridge and small appliances on a rack, with no stove, sink, or counter space, and no water provided to make coffee. Listing says “sleeps 4,” but there was just one queen bed and a medium non-pullout couch. Though decorated very nicely, the space did not reflect the high price, which went well above average listed rate for the unit.
