The property was very clean and neat with everything being in excellent shape. The beds were all very comfortable, the kitchen area well stocked and so were the bathrooms. The communication between myself and the host was excellent and I felt if there were any concerns that they would have been answered in a timely manner but everything was great. Parking was a little difficult for us as we had a mini van and the rear parking was tight but that is to be expected with city parking. The Deck is lovely and it was so relaxing to sit out there and enjoy the surroundings.
Six adults stayed at the rental and had plenty of room to spread out. The neighborhood was well lit and an easy 10 minute walk to Ashmont Station. We enjoyed looking at many of the houses on our walks. There were a few good restaurants within walking distance. We especially liked Tavolo and Lucy's. The Ashmont Station Is also connected to the light rail that goes to Mattapan. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend, especially to large families with children.PROS: clean, very comfortable beds and linens, updated appliances in kitchen and bathrooms, bathrooms on bottom level were spacious, great showers, nice bath towels, rocking chairs on the balcony, plenty of storage in bedrooms, nice cookware, many extras were provided (coffee for Keurig, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hair dryers, some spices, laundry detergent/fabric softener, garbage bags), lots of natural light, room for six at kitchen table, great communicaiton with ownerCONS: several of the window blinds were broken and no curtains on lower level to block light, not enough comfortable seating in living room for six people (sofa has an attached arm rest/drink holder in the center), bathroom upstairs is very small but manageable, very small kitchen only suitable for light cooking, some noise at night in upstairs bedrooms (train, airplanes, AC) but not terrible
Our stay was excellent, the property was clean and spacious with everything we needed. The host was responsive and very helpful before and throughout the trip.
Very clean areas. We had some with mobility issues that had trouble with the stairs, but that's normal. Kitchen was very nice, but tight for 10 people. Location was perfect for what we wanted to see in Boston. Great to have parking.
We absolutely loved staying here! It was the perfect house for our groups of 22. The house was beautiful and so conveniently located to many cute restaurants and even downtown Boston. Our host was wonderful, always quick to respond to my messages and made check in and check out the easiest I have ever experienced. Thanks for letting us stay!!
Great spot for our family of 13 convenience to Boston was perfect ! Only suggestion would be shelving by back stairs for food supplies more than 12 forks and some teaspoons
It was great! We loved the house, the kids loved the bunk beds and my daughter loved the tent they had set up. It was in a great location and for the price the quality of the house was more than we could ask for. The only bummer part was that we stayed only one night. If you are looking for a great house in the Boston area here is one for you!
Excellent stay! Host responded promptly with access codes! Beautiful 5 BR. Neighborhood felt very safe! We ubered to seaport for dinner and a night out. 15-20 minutes.

Thank you so much for your kind review Bryan! We’re truly happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime in the future. Wishing you all the best until then!
Staying at Jenny’s property was a great experience! Plenty of beds for everyone in my group to get their own (7 us total) and still have a couple of beds left unused. The apartment was very clean, and it is exactly as the photos show. Communicating with Jenny was very easy as she was very prompt in responding to my messages! The location is pretty great, less then 10 minutes away from multiple restaurants and bars down in Adams Village, a short walk to the Ashmont train station, and easy access to the highway if you plan on driving anywhere north or south of the city.Would definitely recommend this listing to anyone looking for a place to stay in Boston!
I was hesitant to leave this review because some of the issues we experienced may not have been entirely within the host's control. However, I feel they should be shared so they can be addressed for future guests. The house itself was spacious, spotless, and perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the three full bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The only minor complaint was the inexpensive cooking utensils.Unfortunately, we experienced several issues during our five-night stay. When we arrived around 8:30 p.m., the house was 80–85 degrees because the air conditioning had accidentally been turned off during cleaning. Although the host was apologetic, it took about three hours and several calls and texts to resolve. The next day, a circuit breaker tripped, leaving us without access to a bedroom and bathroom while 7 were getting ready for my son's rehearsal dinner. It again took multiple calls and over an hour for someone to arrive. That evening, we saw a mouse in the kitchen. Although we were told a trap had already caught one, we later found holes in our snack bags and mouse droppings on the counter. We also had a smoke detector begin sounding in the middle of the night for no apparent reason.Overall, this is a great house, but these issues created unnecessary stress during an important wedding weekend, especially for a stay costing over 3,400. I'm not looking for compensation, but I hope these concerns are addressed for future guest.
My family was in Boston for college graduation. This home rental was great space for large group to stay together. Very clean. Parking in back of the house is nice feature and there is some limitations to parking in front of the house. More than 2 or 3 cars could be challenging, but street parking is free. The only problem was in the main bathroom, the shower water did not get hot enough. Was not an issue for us because we were traveling with small group and easy to share the other 2 bathrooms. Hopeful this issue will be fixed for others.Overall, we had a great experience with this rental.
This is an upstairs apartment and the kids rooms are on the third floor so the downstairs tennants cannot hear them from the bedroom. This is definitiely spacious, and it was clean. We traveled with 10 total family members and everyone was able to have a bed of their own (2 night stay). All of the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had an awesome refrigerator. The kitchen is minimally stocked, but we had what we needed. There is a regular coffee maker and a keurig. There were paper towels, hand soap and dish soap. We ate our main meals out and I heated up breakfast casseroles in the morning (oven worked very well). Bathrooms had awesome showers and great water pressure. They stocked with toilet paper, hand soaps, shampoo and conditioner. We had plenty of towels. The Ashmont subway station is a half mile away, so convenient. (My son in law looked at the wrong directions and it took us longer, but it was an easy walk and we felt safe.) We had a small vehicle and parked in the back (it's tight, so if you have a larger vehicle it will take some maneuvering). The other two cars parked on the street with no issues. The host is very easy to contact and she responds immediately. We all enjoyed our stay very much. I would definitely stay here again.
Great property and great host even after our stay. We accidentally left an item behind and Jenny was more than accommodating in helping get the item back to us!
