A wonderful place to stay during a family visit.

Excellent stay

Daughter graduated from UofA. The home is clean and perfect for a large group. Owner very attentive and responded quickly to needs and questions. Recommend this property without reservation.

Family Vacation

This was a very comfortable place to stay, nice quiet location. We were intrigued by the décor, very eclectic and interesting. With all the glassware and artifacts, I would be hesitant to bring young children here, but great for adults. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay in Tucson

We had a great time at Gwen's house and at the 49er Estates. The neighborhood was very friendly; the golf and fitness center had reasonable one-month membership rates. The house is very close to the Saguaro National Park, Mount Lemmon, the Sabino Canyon, etc. We had minor issues with the wash machine and hot tub, but Gwen was quick to address them. Our three adult sons visited for a few days, two with their wives, so we made good use of the extra space and bedrooms. We look forward to a return trip.

49ers house with pool

The property needs some attention, review from last November mentioned no hot water in Master bedroom. We had the same issue, it is not a valve that is only partially turned on. The grill did not work, the pool was not working on arrival, and the pool and hot tub needed cleaning. We spent several hours doing additional cleaning. The property owner did work with us on the issues. The owner is trying but upgrades are needed.

I fixed the hot water while the guests were staying there. I provided an alternative bbq while the guests were staying there. I called the pool company the day after they arrived and it took about a week for them to respond. I cleaned the pool myself before they arrived and we experienced high winds causing more debris which was cleaned once the pool company repaired the pump. I also offered to do additional cleaning as requested for fans and top shelves or pay for a professional cleaner. I also refunded them the cleaning fee immediately.

Nice home away from home

We had 4 bedrooms which was nice for our family of 5. We utilized the hot tub which was lovely. Kitchen is fully stocked, although we ate mostly with family. Only negative is that I could only get lukewarm water in the master bath. Hit water available everywhere else.

I found the problem with the water which I did suggest to Debbie one of the hot water taps under the sink had not been turned back on after some work had been done in the master bath - water warms now

The place was spotless and felt like a home because it was. There was a lot of room and a beautiful backyard. The neighborhood was quiet and the location was great for whatever we needed.

Relaxing getaway

It was just what we needed for our extended family. We had many people join us for our son's wedding and the house was perfect for them. The TV set up was not very user friendly but they managed. The pool had some issues that were resolved but we would rent this property again. Thank you Gwen.

East Side Tucson Retreat

Great 4 bed/2 bath home on a golf course with a massive backyard including a pool, hot tub, fire pit, ping pong, grill, and others. Home has a lot of character with ample kitchen supplies, games, and movies. I would rent this property again when back in Tucson.

Great location on the golf course. To cold to use the pool but hot tub was nice. House needs a couple of small repairs.

House

excellent location, large house and property, easy check in and a very good information book, barbecues needed cleaning but propane tank was full. Lacking fridge, cupboard, and closet space due to owners own belongings taking up most of room. Well equipped kitchen 2 of the beds were short, but good for kids.

I have cleaned out more closet space/cupboards for future renters. I also changed one of the beds that was antique to a longer more contemporary bed. Will check bbq for cleanliness next time as hadn’t used it lately. The items in the fridge were left for renters - mostly condiments as these are expensive to buy for shorter trips - will explain this in the welcome book as well.

Very nice, quiet neighborhood on a nice golf course.

This house worked very well for us. It is a bit dated but the spa worked great for us and the place was well equipped. The neighbourhood is quiet and the golf course is pretty good.

Baptism Visit 2017

The home accommodated our family to each have thier own room. It worked well to have everyone together between planned activities. The home had many antiques and unique pieces of furniture. The location was good for morning walks. The beds were comfortable and large towels were provided for personal use. The backyard pool was a nice place to relax and have conversations late in the afternoon. The kitchen was well stocked with various sizes of bowls, pans and spices. Somethings in the home were not clean when we arrived, e.g. the microwave and some surfaces had quite a bit of dust. Some noise from the occupied attached single unit could be heard into our unit - the person was out nights, so it did not impact sleep.
