Welcome to Whiffletree E8, a cozy 3-bedroom condo designed with budget-conscious groups in mind. Perfectly modest in décor, this inviting space allows you to unwind and relax after a day of adventure. Curl up by the gas fireplace, creating a warm atmosphere that makes for the perfect ending to a long day on the slopes.
What truly sets Whiffletree E8 apart is its unbeatable location. You're just minutes from the mountain and a short drive from the vibrant nightlife that Killington has to offer. In the winter, take advantage of the free shuttle service to the Snowshed base lodge, which is only ½ mile away, along with the added bonus of "ski home" access.
On the main level, you'll find a comfortable living room featuring a Queen sleeper sofa, a 42" flat-screen TV, and the inviting gas fireplace. The dining area accommodates 6 people comfortably, making it an ideal spot for shared meals and conversation. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker, ensuring you have everything you need to whip up your favorite dishes.
This level also includes a bedroom with a King bed (which can be configured as two Twin beds with a common headboard) and a full bathroom for added convenience.
Venture to the upper level to find another full bathroom and two additional bedrooms—one with Twin beds and another with a Double bed. This setup provides ample sleeping arrangements for your group.

The rental agency was amazing, simple reservation and check in process and checked in on us on our stay. The location was fantastic with shuttle at the end of the driveway. Just minutes to drive to multiple base lodges and into Killington Village. The condo was as described, beds were super comfortable, place was very clean. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it can use some updating regarding the sofa, chairs, rugs and appliances.

Great Stay

Easy to navigate around, cool place. Was able to ski back which had a cool trail. Had a bit of a cabin feel, which we loved. Would for sure stay at Whiffletree again!

Amazing stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this condo worked out well for our group. My one criticism is the condo had a number of additional fees, above the listed price (as I looked back, that is pretty clear in the interface, but I did not notice when I originally booked). With the fees, this ends up being a pretty expensive place for what you get. That said, the condo is in a great spot with an easy shuttle ride to the mountain and a great ski off trail. The condo slept our group of 6 comfortably and had everything we needed.

Could have been better

We booked this place for a girls trip - it was very dated. We all kept our socks on all the time becasue of the carpet. Shower head is AWFUL in the upstairs bathroom, more like an outdoor shower head from a local community bathroom. When we arrived, the check in office ladies were EXTREMELY lovely and kind. When we arrived to the unit, the front door was wide open- we did a sweep to ensure there was no one inside. Smelt a little of smoke but that went away fast once we opened the balcony door. All was ok but made for a little bit of a nervous start. Shuttle service is awesome, easy and convienient. Overall, gave us places to put our stuff for a short weekend it was fine but wish it was more updated.

The location is great, we walked about 10 minutes to get to main base lodge for fall activities. Area was beautiful for foliage. Condo had a nice playground and tennis court. But the listing on Orbitz said a hot tub - it does not have that. The room was very outdated, and really old heating baseboard, no A/C and it is no the 3rd floor with no elevator. Location was great! that is the best part.

Pretty run down unit

Unit: closets, appliances, furniture are pretty old and are very basic. We were 7 people staying there and the space was tight. There were plenty of dishes and glasses, but for some reason not enough dishwasher detergent, so we eventually ran out and had to finish by hand washing some dishes.. Location: it’s close to the slopes and there is supposedly a shuttle bus coming every 20-30 minutes; however, carrying the ski gear to the bus stop and waiting there in the cold wasn’t worth it for us, so we opted for driving to the slope.

Overall not bad...

Overall the unit was pretty good. Customer service was good as we arrived early and they let us check in. Location is definitely awesome and the trail to ski back is great. The unit itself is a bit old. Towels were a definite issue. Internet wasn't very good, but you probably shouldn't be using it that much anyways.
