About this property

Amazing Loft Cabin + Bunkhouse. ATV Trails. Lawn Games & Hot Tub! Sleeps 10

The perfect blend of luxury and rustic charm awaits at The Northwoods Loft, a stunning cabin + bunkhouse that combined can sleep up to 10 guests. Nestled on 17 private acres in the heart of northern Minnesota and surrounded by towering evergreens and vibrant aspen trees, this getaway offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

With high ceilings and bright, open spaces, the main cabin comfortably sleeps five. It features two inviting bedrooms —one in the upstairs loft with a queen bed and one on the main floor featuring a convenient queen Murphy bed that folds away to maximize space— along with 1.5 bathrooms. A comfortable inflatable mattress in the living room provides additional sleeping accommodations.

The main floor includes a stylish, fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with seating for six, the living room with a smart TV, and a convenient laundry room, ensuring you have everything you need for both short and extended stays. Wake up to panoramic views from the loft, enjoy the warmth of the fireplace, or retreat to the She Shed with a good book for some peaceful solitude.

Just steps from the cabin, the newly completed, year-round Bunkhouse hosts up to five guests. Outfitted with a twin-over-queen bunk bed, futon, game table, dartboard, TV, board games, and a quaint bar - with a microwave and a mini fridge. It’s your go-to spot for indoor fun and evening hangouts.

Outdoors, nature takes center stage. Private hiking trails wind through the property, including one leading to a serene duck pond. Adventure calls with direct access to ATV and snowmobile routes, while Lake Vermilion, just minutes away, offers some of the region's best fishing. Winter enthusiasts will love snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, while summer guests can revel in the countless nearby trails and water activities.

After a day of exploring, gather around the firepit with loved ones or let your cares melt away in the hot tub under a canopy of stars.

Whether you're planning a romantic escape, a family adventure, or a peaceful retreat with modern comforts, The Northwoods Loft is the perfect destination. With easy access to nearby towns like Cook and Virginia, the stunning Soudan Mines, and a wealth of lakes and trails, you'll discover both serenity and excitement in every direction.

Come for the views. Stay for the memories.

Peace and serenity

Enjoyed everything this location has to offer. Watching the sunset by the fire pit and listening to the ducks, frogs, and birds. The hot tub was a great ending to the day.We did not take advantage of the trails around the property. We took advantage of a wonderful day to hike in Voyagers National Park.

Serene, quiet getaway

Lovely, private, wooded property with a clean home that’s also stocked with the basics. Watching the northern lights from the hot tub was an added bonus!

Perfect Cabin Getaway

I have nothing but great things to say about this perfect little cabin. Check-in and contact with hosts was excellent from booking all the way through our trip. Everything was thought out in terms of we never had to leave the cabin from towels, blankets, pots/pans, etc. The house was super clean and tidy. I couldn’t recommend this place more and would love to revisit.
