It is close to walking trails and golfing. Enjoy nature while having dinner on the screened porch or catch some sun while lounging on the back deck. Great Get Away

Home was nice. We were surprised when we walked into the upper level of the home and had to walk down a flight of stairs to the main level. Not sure if that was mentioned in the description. We did not use any of the property amenities but did enjoy the quiet location and fireplace.

We had a perfect ladies getaway in the Galena territory area. We did the TwentyDirtyHands pottery tour & it was great! The accommodations were overall good. The electrical switches would occasionally trip but we would reset the ground fault and they were fine. Great location-quiet. Best memory -the sunny screen porch with a glass of wine on Saturday before a wonderful dinner in Galena.

Cozy & Quiet

Driving through Galena Territory to the location of this relaxing and cozy home touches all senses. The sights of the beautiful fall colors, rustling of the leaves, then opening the door to this beautiful and inviting home is good for the soul. This lovely home offered every amenity. The host provided a well stocked library, games and a beautiful screened in porch. Perfect to start the day with a cup of coffee or a glass of evening wine with the sound of owls having a conversation in the background! This home is definitely one of our favorites!

Nice, quiet, but a lot of stairs

Exterior could use maintenance, sun room dusty (but nice to use), inside nice but a lot of stairs from door to 1st floor (we're seniors). Heat/Cool worked fine, bed/bedding great, kitchen chairs hard, could use better cushions. Wi-Fi great. Furniture fine. Didn't cook, so can't rate the kitchen. Fridge fine. TV's in all rooms (didn't use though, used our tablets, phones - already setup). Nice place as a hangout to visit Galena, and the casino. Parking right in front, and the trees provided shade (and no sap either), room for 2 cars. GPS worked fine in the area. Cell service good here too. Brought our own small Keurig (from experience at other rentals). Overall, a nice place to stay, if you don't mind the stairs.

Just what I expected!

Very happy with my stay this weekend. Bedrooms are huge and each with its own bathroom. King bed was amazing!!! Kitchen was also great, I just wish they had filtered water and cooking oil. Grill was awesome and had a great time in the sunroom. Definitely staying there again in the future.

Great Place to Stay in Galena

Great little place just outside of Galena. Quiet little getaway, but close enough to the downtown area. Very clean, comfortable beds. Would recommend bringing a fan for the upstairs bedroom (it gets pretty hot).

Weekend for ups and downs bicycle event.

This is the third time we stayed at this house. It’s a quiet spot with everything we need. There are wonderful hiking paths. Golfing is everywhere, but we don’t golf. We look forward to coming to Galena every year. We plan to come back next year for the Ups and Downs bicycle event.

Drama Break

The condo was very cute and comfortable. Everything was great no issues whatsoever. We just wanted to get away from it all and this was the perfect place. So quiet and scenic. I would highly recommend it for a couple or 2 couples. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Plenty of room to eat and play. We plan to go back again.

3-star but could easily be 5-star

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: The property was cute and roomy enough for 2 adults or 2 couples with one master bedroom suite upstairs and another bedroom with bath on the first floor. The kitchen was well appointed with utensils & pots & pans etc. Great location amidst trees, quiet neighborhood, nice walking paths near property, nice proximity to local attractions - Bushel & a Peck in Elizabeth - Gravity Falls - Fergetaboutit Winery in Hanover Things for management to note: *towels are threadbare and need to be replaced *spent the first 1/2 hour cleaning, wiping off kitchen counters (sticky), dusting bedrooms - very thick dust on headboard & lamps and wiping down bathroom sinks *cobwebs so bad between the window & screens we did not open bedroom windows. Would have been nice to sleep with windows open! * loved having screened in porch AFTER WE SWEPT it off & washed off the coffee table *when took off sheets/pillowcases at the end of our stay, the mattress pads & pillows were terribly stained Just a few changes and it could go from 3-star to a 5-star rating.
