Baguio stay

Awesome stay

Great folks managing from right up stairs. relatives of owners. Very cheerful and accommodating. I would request to stay here again for any long trip to Baguio.

Homey

The place is very homey, making us feel like we're just in the comfort of our own home. My 13-year old daughter who never sleeps alone, surprisingly slept in the other room all by herself in the 2 nights we stayed here! 😍 Tita Gloria is very welcoming. We will definitely consider coming back.

Convenience and Kindness

My family was in a tough situation during the storm and the owner accommodated us with the greatest professionalism and kindness. The owner was very receptive to messages and phone calls with the reservation and helped us into this beautiful home and allowed our stay to be flexible with arrival day and time. We are very grateful and blessed for the hospitality and really enjoyed the beautiful home in such a beautiful area. We would love to come back to this house with the rest of our family in the future

Comfortable and safe

We had a very pleasant experience at the property. When we arrived, the property was ready for us and it was clean and tidy. With the property being situated within a secure compound and security lighting and cameras present, we never felt unsafe at the property and we also felt comfortable in leaving our car at the property. Being a English speaker only, I would like to have seen a cable TV system with foreign channels, but I understand the costs involved in this and it may be asking a bit much given the very good and cheap rental rates we paid for the property. Unfortunately we did not get to meet Percy, but Gloria the property manager was charming and was available to attend to us if and as required. If you are a westerner considering staying at this property, do not expect western standards, but given it is in the Philippines, it is more that adequate and you will not feel uneasy in the property. I definitely recommend this property to others and will stay here again next time we visit Baguio. Richard and Joan.

Thank you for your warm and nice words and for taking the time to give us a Feedback. We looked into having more foreign channels for our TV but we are not a hotel and our occupancy rate is less than 20% a year which we like to keep that way. And to be honest you were the first one to point that out the need for foreign channels to us. We invested instead on a fast Wi-Fi service so our guests can use their mobile electronic equipments to access the entertainment choices they prefer. Maybe one day we can consider upgrading the cable TV channel to include foreign channels. I am sorry I missed you as I was out of town when you stayed with us but I hear from Miss Gloria that you are wonderful people and we would welcome you anytime should you visit Baguio again.

Manang Gloria, You were Great!

NIce property but it was not easy to find it. Generally speaking, Baguio does not have easily visible road signs/address markings if there is any at all. Percy, take note that when the gate is open, the address written on it is not visible nor easy to read especially with the kind of traffic that goes on in front of the house. The best landmark you can give future customers is the BAKISAN STORE - even when it is not easy to find your property, they know they are in the vicinity. The address you have in the VRBO website has extra 2 numbers that makes it unrecognizable by any google maps. It would be great if there was a WI-FI service. Inspite of the ordeal finding the property, we enjoyed our stay and we loved Manang Gloria..

As for the WiFi, it is really outside our control, the service provider is currently installing fiber optics in our area and until that is finished, we purchase data and offer it for free to our guests. OK place, but some issues.....

The unit itself was pretty much ok (although there are a number of small, cheap fixes that could make it much better), and the staff was friendly and attentive to fixing problems. The biggest issue, and one that there is no solution for, is that there are several dogs very close that bark and yap back and forth at each other constantly, day and night. One was just below the bedroom window one floor down. We were forced to either listen to them and not get any sleep, or close the windows to reduce the decibel level and get hot at night (no air conditioning, as with most Baguio residences). Because of that, I can't recommend renting this unit unless something changes.

Thank you for taying with us and for your review. Your feedback is very much appreciated. But like you said, the dogs in the neighborhood is something we have no control of. As for the little fixes you mentioned, if you can be more specific, then we can attend to it. As for air conditioning, most Baguio homes do not need that due to temperate climate in Baguio. We do have electric fans to cool Off should guests ask for it. Thank you again. Our review of the guests’ stay is as follows: Our place was left In a few places messy including the dining table, bedroom, kitchen. We had to add an extra hour to cleaning the place to put it back to where it should be for the next quests. Guests were not friendly, kept to themselves, and were not communicative during their stay.

Just like home. Comfortable and nice. Ms. Gloria was very kind and friendly and helpful. I wish taxis weren't so hard to get though. Really enjoyed the property. I wish they did provide amenities for the bathrooms. Great stay really enjoyed it!!!

Mr. Timothy and his party were very friendly and appreciative guests. They were easy to communicate with and left the place orederly and neat they way they found it. We would highly recommend them to other hosts and will welcome then back in a heartbeat on their future visit to Baguio. Indeed, as listed in our listing's amenities section, we do not provide shampooes and bath soaps because our experience in the past is that people are very choosy on these toiletries and we get more complaints on the brand or they get thrown out in the garbage which is a waste. But we will in the future provide it for those who asks for it.
