We love staying here after 2 days of kayaking and island camping. It has everything you need. This is our second stay and it has always been clean and convenient. Best suited for those doing similar activities to us, or hunting. The sportsmans bar nearby has excellent food.

The location was very good, quite. The area was in the Alligany National Forest. It was peaceful and remote, and we still had internet connection. Our visit had good weather, which was very fortunate. All and all a good trip. I will make plans for a repeat trip.

This place was perfect for my needs. Has a washer and dryer and great internet. There is a slightly uphill 30ft driveway that is quite bumpy, so if you have a vehicle that rides low to the ground I would recommend not driving that vehicle. This wasn't an issue for me, but I just figured i would give an heads up. Otherwise I had a great time!

It was a nice place for an overnight stay with a nice view. We had some confusion when we came even after reading the instructions and pulled up to the property next door. Thankfully the people staying there helped us find our rental. We also were confused initially when we only found one bedroom in the main house when the pictures showed 3 bedrooms. There is really just one bedroom with a double bed in the main house, a pull out in the living room, and then the bunk beds are in a converted detached garage behind the house. My teens loved the bunk house, but if you plan on using for younger children just be aware that the space is separate from the main house.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the property, the view, and especially that your teens loved the bunkhouse! We also really appreciate your comments about the arrival directions and the bedroom setup. We understand how the separate bunkhouse could initially be confusing, and your feedback is very helpful. We will review both our check-in instructions and the listing description/photos to make the layout and location of the property as clear as possible for future guests, particularly for families traveling with younger children. Thank you again for choosing our cottage. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even better experience!
