What started a little rough, ended very satisfied. Check-in is at 4, but I spoke with the renter who graciously allowed me to check in at 3 instead. However, when we showed up, my code to unlock the door didn't work. I ended up going to the store and getting supplies and when we tried again at 4:00, the code magically worked and we were ready to load in. With one crisis averted, the next began. There was no parking. We had 5 cars from friends all traveling from out of state and all of the street parking around the property was paid and had a 3 hour limit. We were all lucky enough to find free unlimited street parking a few blocks away, so it wasn't a major deal but was definitely inconvenient. The renter messaged me later that night to apologize for the parking issue because they normally just submit our license plate numbers to allow us to use the permit parking. Once we parked, we uber'ed everywhere so we didn't need to worry about parking again. It just was a pain for unloading at the beginning and loading up at the end.The property itself was perfect. Very clean and was exactly as described in the listing. I wish the weather was nicer this weekend, because the patio's and rooftop were extremely nice and welcoming. Checkout was super simple and the renter was very responsive during communication. If parking hadn't been an issue, it would have been perfect. Communicate with renter beforehand and parking shouldn't be a problem for you.

About the host
Your host
I am originally from North Dakota and moved to Colorado when I was 19 where I raised my daughters. I left my career in the legal industry after selling my business, sold my house in Colorado and started traveling. I realized quickly I am not a backpacker and now spend a few months in different places to learn the culture. I realize I love the hospitality industry and creating a space where people can relax, have fun, and feel comfortable and safe.
