The apartment was in good order and modernised, and was comfortable. We had all essentials.It is located in a very convenient part of town: shops and cafes/restaurants were nearby, and public transport was easily accessible. The Danube is close, as is Margarit Island and Bridge.Janos and Joszef were very helpful, and we particularly enjoyed Janos' guided tour around the Danube Bend.

Lovely and very clean little apartment, in fantastic location.Owners were excellent at responding to questions before arrival. They also arranged my transport from and to the airport. My flight was very delayed, but they very kindly waited for me and explained everything I needed to know about the appointment. The appointment has everything you could possibly need for your stay, and hosts were happy to help with anything extra you could possibly need.I would highly recommend the personal tours on offer with Janos. I had excellent time and will be definitely coming back.

Brilliant location

This excellent property is situated on the 5th floor of a traditional Hungarian apartment block only a few minutes walk from The Danube and so close to all of the famous sites. The area has many bars and restaurants as well as several small independent shops where you can buy delicious bread and pastries, fruit and vegetables, cheeses, hams and sausages etc. Yet despite all of this, it is peaceful and quiet. The apartment itself is immaculately clean, very comfortable and has all you need for your stay. The main bedroom and living area is spacious, airy and comfortable; the kitchen is very well equipped and the elegant bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet, washbasin and sink. There is also a single bedroom where we stored our cases. For us the very best part of our stay was meeting Janos, our host. He made our holiday so very special. On our first day, he arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport and then spent time with us explaining the excellent transport system and recommending restaurants and places to visit as well as the best times to visit them. We had already planned a day’s sightseeing with him which was so good that we asked him for a second day when we visited a beautiful village in the mountains, went bob-sleighing and then had a two hour boat trip on the Danube. Janos obviously loves his country and was so knowledgeable and informative, explaining his country’s history as well as life now. We loved spending the time with him. We will be back!

This comfortable apartment was a perfect 8-day home for our party (three 70+ friends of different genders). We liked having two toilets separate from the bath, and the kitchen was remarkably well equipped— even a teapot for Irish/Scottish oldies! But we didn’t cook much, as the neighbourhood offered wonderful restaurants and cafes, as well as convenient public transport options taking us anywhere we wanted to go. It’s a fabulous place to stay, with a charming, helpful hostess.

Everything you could want for your stay in budapest. Wonderful views, 1 min walk to the parliament, tram stop just outside with access to connections around all budapest and a couple of small supermarkets if you want to pick up anything. The apartment is really well equipped and we wanted for nothing, after a hard day sightseeing we spent a couple of evenings just chilling with a glass of wine, looking at the river boats on the Danube as the sun set. The apartment is so well located - we will have no hesitation in booking again. Vincent was also really flexible as our flights changed a couple of times and he was able to amend out dates, with no fuss at all. I cannot recommend this apartment enough.
