This restored 1827 estate is a romantic’s dream. Enjoy the view+sounds of the rushing river from a 1,200 sq ft deck w/ hot tub. Walk up the grand staircase to the master king bedroom suite w/walk-in shower. Grand parlor room w/Black marble fireplace (gas) is warm! Cozy up with a glass of wine and a movie. Bring the entire family to stay…6 restored bedrooms plus queen sleeper sofa in living room. Beautiful custom kitchen has the antique look w/ all new appliances. Dining room is perfect for family dinner and enjoying games + puzzles. Bathrooms are stocked with conveniences. Visit an awesome local diner for breakfast or our favorite bar/grill for dinner, both 2 minutes away. Two laundry areas for your convenience. We take pride in providing the extra touch so you can relax! Every guest is offered guided historic tour of the house (this estate is pending national landmark status.)

We absolutely love this house! My husband and I are history buffs and you are doing a wonderful job with this place! Everything was great. We liked being able to read a little history on the house so the table top book was lovely. We would really like to come back and stay again when the renovation is complete!

This was absolutely one of our favorite VRBO rentals ever.... The house is so warm and inviting, tastefully decorated, and all I can say about the property is WOW.... The history and the warmth of the home made this a memory we will cherish. My wife said it was the BEST Mother's day ever. The warm glow of the fireplace at night was perfect. Walking along the river, enjoying the serenity of the place was so relaxing and peaceful. Talk about a value for your money. Thank you so much for everything, our host were extremely accommodating since we were up there working and you made our week.

More than we imagined

We were only able to stay one night, but enjoyed our time immensely. From the jaunt down to the riverside, to the last embers in the firepit, the whole evening was an enormous respite for us. Thank you for sharing this lovely place in which you have invested so much.

We couldn’t get the hot tub to heat up but the host was incredibly helpful and offered to come fix it. But we just decided to enjoy the house itself. It’s ornate and beautiful! The upstairs is not accessible but I would have loved to see the rest of that beautiful home!

This home was an incredible opportunity - an almost completely original 1827 mansion on 5 acres with 400+ feet of riverfront. Our family is mostly history buffs and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to restore this unique gem as a family project for guests to enjoy!
