Nice cabin. Enjoyed our stay. I Would have given five star review but the 5th bedroom only had a futon instead of a bed. Nice accommodations and a nice view from the balcony. Stairs were long getting to the cabin but I’m getting old lol. Bears were quit active during our stay. I would rent again.

The location was great very central and convenient to everything. However, the drive up to the house was a bit intimidating. Unfortunately, the condition of the home was disappointing. It felt outdated and not properly cleaned. The cleaning service did not seem thorough at all; it looked like only a basic surface clean was done. We found crumbs in the kitchen handles, trash behind the dressers, and the sheets did not appear clean. We ended up washing the bedding ourselves before using it. Additionally, both propane tanks were empty, which was frustrating since we planned to make s’mores. The home would also benefit from having basic cleaning supplies available, and the broom should be replaced, as it did not seem usable. Overall, I’ve stayed in much cleaner and better maintained homes, so this was a letdown.

Do not book this property. The conditions we found were unsanitary and unsafe, and I would not wish this experience on anyone.Upon arrival, we discovered rodent feces lining the inside of the kitchen cabinets along with rotting wood, making the kitchen completely unusable. Rotting wood was found in multiple other areas of the property as well. One window does not close, which allowed yellow jackets inside the home. The second-floor sliding door is literally held together with duct tape. The downstairs couch has visible urine stains. The furniture throughout is old and in very poor condition. The listing also advertised a dishwasher that does not exist.We contacted VRBO and the host to report these issues. I strongly urge future travelers to look elsewhere. This property is not clean, not safe, and not worth any amount of money.

The issues described were first raised after checkout, when a request was made for a full refund of the completed stay. We take claims like this very seriously. The cabin is professionally cleaned and inspected between every reservation, and we have since reviewed the property again to confirm it is in good condition and accurately represented in the listing. Our team is always available during a stay to address any concerns right away, and when guests notify us in real time we typically resolve issues quickly so they can fully enjoy their visit. For future guests considering this cabin: it continues to host visitors who enjoy the property and its location, and our team remains committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable experience for every stay.

Overall is was on okay stay. The amenities are just alright. The bedding/pillows and pretty subpar. It’s decent for a short stay, but I wouldn’t want to stay much longer than 3-4 days. I also feel like the owners should do a better job warning about the drive up, yes it’s on a mountain but our minivan was barely able to make it in certain parts. Also, there should be more communication about the amount of stairs to get to the house. Any one with mobility issues would have problems.
