St. Clair West is a catch-all neighbourhood we use to describe the area that runs along St. Clair West starting from Avenue Road to Westmount where Corso Italia begins. It encompasses micro hoods like Wychwood Park, Oakwood and Hillcrest.

- Wychwood Barns Market: This renovated streetcar maintenance facility is home to artist studios, greenhouses, a farmer’s market, a beach volleyball court, and a public green space. They host regular pop-up events. In the winter — weather permitting — there’s a Canadian-backyard-style skating rink on the grounds. BYOS (bring your own skates) or simply sip your coffee and cheer on the shinny hockey players.

Getting Around:

Awesome but noisy

This place was exactly like the pictures, very clean, comfortable beds (the listing says 1 king bed1 single bed, but it is 2 king beds), well furnished and a lovely patio. Communication was excellent and they even accommodated us for an early check-in request. Paid parking lot at reasonable rates a short walk away was also a plus.The only downside was that this location was very noisy and nearly impossible to sleep at given the proximity to the street car track directly out front. That is probably my fault as it could have been avoided by viewing the property on Google maps.
