About the Resort:
Marriott’s Newport Coast is a fractional ownership resort, with inventory managed like a hotel. All villas feature the same upscale layout, furnishings, and amenities. While room views and locations vary, we can submit building or floor preferences to Marriott on your behalf, though these cannot be guaranteed.

Approximately half of the villas offer views of the golf course and nature preserve. The other half offers distant ocean views. While a request for an ocean view can be made, it cannot be guaranteed. Please note this resort is not directly oceanfront.

The 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa was great and much bigger than it looked in the online photos. The pool and grounds were also great. Our kids bounces from basketball, ping-pong, other sporting options to the pool and repeated that as much as possible. They also have cool activities, like feeding the Kio fish, magic show and ice cream socials everyday. The grounds are huge and very roomy with enough space to not feel like guests are on top of each other. The views are wonderful, as it the surrounding area. Crystal Cove is in walking distance, but they have a shuttle that runs like every hour. Wonderful place and wonderful stay. We will be back.

Fantastic facility with lots to do, including many well-heated pools in various locations throughout the property, multiple hot tubs at each, ping pong tables, shuffle board, tennis and pickleball, and more. The rooms are large, well equipped, and clean. The views are spectacular and location is as good as it gets. The host was communicative and transparent and the stay was seamless. It was not inexpensive, and the property, though beautiful, is several years old - if modern styling is important to you, there are more modern finishes in the region. But it is well-maintained and well staffed and there is not a better managed property in all of the places we’ve stayed. We will not hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful property and great family layout

My family of 4 had a lovely stay! The location is great and the grounds were so well maintained and clean. We were there to visit Disneyland and have some fun on the beach. The shuttle to the beach was great and the kids loved the pool area at the resort! Everything was wonderful and property manager was very responsive and helpful! I highly recommend this place!

Family Resort Fun

Wow! This was our first time here and it won’t be our last. Activities for all, the resort is so well maintained and check in was so easy. We enjoyed the on site pools as well as the beach at Crystal Cove, which is just a 5 min shuttle drive away. Highly recommend for a family getaway!

We came down from Idaho to have a nice getaway from the weather and busyness of work. We loved the pools, the villa, the view, the location, etc. We fell in love with Newport and would definitely come back. The room was well stocked with the basic necessities. Our family of 5 had zero complaints- our 8 year old said it was her favorite vacation haha.I would say communication with Marriott's front desk and transportation staff was a bit rough, so we decided to drive where we needed to go instead (pools, ocean, etc). **This was not the villa owner's fault.**

Beautiful property

Check in process was very easy. There were lots of things to do near by, and also a shuttle service to local beaches and shopping centers (free service). The kids center was nice with lots of activities to choose from. The hot tub and pools were very nice. All staff that we encountered were super friendly. The property was well manicured and well taken care of. The room had basic amenities. The pictures of the room and property are exactly what it looked like in real life. Our ONLY complaint was the flooding in the room due to weather. It rained the entire time we were there and the carpet in the master bedroom and living room were completely soaked. Again, no fault of the host, but weather. We were not offered any type of compensation. Overall, a very beautiful property and room with exceptional staff.
