We arrived at the house and was very clean. It was very comfortable and quite. I would stay there again!

We loved our stay at off the beaten path. The ocracoke realty had fairly fast communication, but with the host, owner, or cleaners, it was very poor. No reply or so late it did no good. We were happy how clean the house was.

I loved being tuck away in the shady surroundings. Private, yet close to everything, and everywhere we wanted to go to. Well appointed kitchen which was important to me, as I was there for the Fig Festival and needed to do some baking! ( I won a ribbon for my traditional fig preserve cake!) The house was clean and neat as a pin. Spent lots of time on the porch rockers too. The host kept in touch as needed, with all the information needed to enjoy the cottage, and share guidelines for the check in-out protocol. I may just book again next year!

We LOVED Off the Beaten Path! Location was perfect for us, just far enough out of the way to be quiet but still close to the village. We are super picky about cleanliness, and this place was spotless. We will be back in the future!
