Had truly a great stay. Paddling around the lake in kayaks, having a wonderful fire under the full moon and grilling dinner on the porch. Our dog had a great stay too! Really nice pebbly beach for the pups and yourself to take a dip. And don't sleep on Houlton Dairy chocolate milk at the Millyard

Everything was great, only problem was checking in, the key code lock was not working and we could not get in Kaylie had to come and get in through another door Not a big deal, just a little inconvenience

My dog, Moon, and I had a wonderful, peaceful time at this rental this summer! This cabin is well-designed in a compact, very comfortable space. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking meals and the dining table has a wonderful view of Dark Cove. It was warm enough while I was there to eat breakfast and lunch out on the lakeside deck. We used the air conditioning when it became too hot. The bathroom shower is a full tub-sized shower, which is unusually spacious for a northern Maine camp! One day, I took a relaxing paddle around the island in one of the kayaks provided. My favorite part of our stay, however, was the neighborhood loon, who came by at least once a day to fish out front and occasionally serenade with a familiar loon yodel! I would highly recommend this rental. It is attached to a large family house behind it, but there was no one there during the time I rented, so it was very quiet.

It was lovely to return to this cozy camp on Dark Cove, East Grand Lake, for a few days of rest and quiet before my 50th high school reunion weekend nearby! The deck is a perfect place to sit and watch the loons and other wildlife on the water. I ate all my meals out there and only moved inside once the light was going out of the sky, except for an occasional nap. The bed that overlooks the lake is a comfortable refuge and a great place to nap! The kitchen is well designed and fully equipped. The shower in the bath is oversized for a camp. Overall, a very comfortable and well-designed space to spend relaxing with northwoods nature! I look forward to returning in years to come!
