About this property
Peaceful Smoky Mountain Cabin w/ Hot Tub
Tranquil Treehouse is a private cabin located in the Timberwinds community in Townsend. It is just minutes from the national park as well as many other attractions. The cabin offers 3 sleeping areas, including a spacious upstairs bedroom with a walk in closet and bathroom. Breathtaking views can be enjoyed from every room, it’s almost as though you’re staying in a treehouse.
As soon as you walk in the cabin you’ll see the fully stocked kitchen, dining area with seating for 6, and the living room with a pull out couch, electric recliner, and a 55” roku TV. The downstairs also includes a full bath with a jetted tub and a shower. If you need to take care of some laundry during your stay, we have you covered! We have a stacked washer and dryer for your convenience. No matter what room you’re in you’ll be able to take in the beautiful views. The lower patio has 4 rocking chairs and a hot tub perfect for relaxing on those cool mountain nights.
The master suite takes up the entire upper level of the cabin. The bedroom features a king size bed, roku tv, and a sleeping/seating area with a queen size futon, and a rocking chair. The master suite also has a walk in closet and bathroom. Natural light from all of the windows floods the room and provides breathtaking views. My favorite part of the upstairs is what awaits you when you walk outside to the patio area. After a long day of activities, unwind and watch the sunset in comfort on our outdoor hanging daybed with a twin size mattress. It’s also an amazing place to take a nap in the treetops.
The Timberwinds neighborhood provides guests with access to a swimming pool and pavilion area.
Dogs are welcome to the cabin for the additional fee of $95. To bring a dog, please add it to the reservation when submitting the booking request. Dogs are not allowed to be on any furniture. If you plan to be away from your dog, we ask that you bring your crate in order to keep them safe and to avoid costly damage fees. We also ask that you pick up after your dog. Please let us know if you'd like to bring your dog with you.
Townsend is known as the peaceful side of the smokies; however, many exciting activities await you and are within a short driving distance. The Smoky Mountain National Park, Cade’s Cove, the Little River, Tuckaleechee Caverns, horseback riding, and a winery are just a few of the great things to do while in Townsend.
Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are both around 20 miles from the cabin. These towns are home to many tourist attractions such as zip lines, dinner shows, mountain coasters, and fun shops.
3 miles from Blackberry Farms.
**Please note the fireplaces are turned off from the end of March until the beginning of November**
**The cabin is located at the top of a mountain, which provides great views. Therefore, the roads leading to the cabin are steep and can be slippery when wet; however, the previous owner made it to the cabin on a rainy day in a 2 wheel drive U-Haul van. With that being said, 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive is not necessary, although I would recommend it if you're not used to driving on steep mountain roads.**
**During colder months when ice and snow can be expected, it’s advised that you purchase trip insurance. No refunds will be issued due to inability to reach cabin in the event of inclement weather. **
