Could not have asked for a better place to stay while celebrating the graduation of our daughter from Wingate University. The location was perfect and the house is beautiful, clean and the back yard was relaxing. The host was superb, we would definitely book here again!

Great place! The living room furniture is not comfortable sonifbyoir looking for a place to lounge and watch TV this is to be considered. We did run out of toilet paper so that maybhave just been a fluke. The host is easy to communicate with. The home was extremely clean and had nice amenities and a great location to Wingate. Kitchen was clean, well stocked, and very updated and cozy. Only suggestions would be to make sure salt and pepper shakers are stocked and maybe have a couple more rolls of toilet paper when 6 guests are staying. But Food Lion is a block away so it was not a real issue.

Wonderfully updated house with large fences in backyard. Beautiful koi pond. Kitchen was nicely appointed as well. This location was minutes away from the wedding venue ( Henry Hall Wilson house). Close to downtown Monroe which had several restaurants to choose from. Property manager Chris was attentive and responded quickly via VRBO app. We would stay here again if in the area!

Beautiful and Peaceful

The home is gorgeous. The backyard has an amazing firepit with beautiful ambient string lighting. The host left us a cute Valentine's surprise that was there when we arrived. It was a lovely way to spend s romantic weekend away.

The house is very nice and in great shape, There is FoodLion grocery store right next door. The cute small town of Monroe is within blocks. The backyard is great. Kitchen is well appointed. Beautiful house. Could use some more blankets and there are zero clothes bureaus. The host was very responsive but couple things. Host asked upon reservations for copy of drivers license that I declined. Most concerning was access code was changed precisely at checkout time of 10:00 am. There was no warning and we were lucky to not be locked out when loading car. Wrote host asking if code changed and received no answer. Maids appeared promptly at 10:00 am too.

Regarding the ID request, this is a standard security policy, similar to what hotels require at check-in. It helps us verify guests and protect the property, especially since the home is rented frequently. As for the access code, it is programmed to deactivate at checkout time to ensure the home can be cleaned and prepared for upcoming stays. Our exterior security cameras confirm the cleaning team arrived at 2pm. Since no guests were scheduled to arrive that day, the cleaners were intentionally scheduled later. Had additional time been needed, we would have been happy to offer a later checkout if requested in advance my phone number is always available for guests to reach out. I apologize if the timing caused any concern, and I appreciate you bringing this to my attention so we can communicate this more clearly in the future. Thank you again for your stay and for your feedback it is truly appreciated.

Very clean, modern space, at good price

Almost everything in this home is brand new, from the appliances and floors to paint job to the sinks and showers. The space was exceptionally clean, and the master (king) foam bed was very comfortable. While the water pressure was on the lower side, the shower was spotless, and the water temperature was consistent. The home is located in a lower-income area, but it felt safe—neighbors were friendly, and I even saw a family playing ball with their child next door. The large backyard is beautiful, adding to the overall appeal. It’s also very close to town, making it easy to get around. One thing to note for light sleepers: the house is near a road so traffic noise is unavoidable, and there’s a train that runs during the week and wasn't fun to listen to at night. I had earplugs, so it wasn’t an issue for me, but bringing earplugs and an eye mask for excess outside light would be a pro tip for those staying here. The host was incredibly responsive, which made the stay even smoother. Overall, a great option for those looking for a clean, modern space close to town!
