About this property
Newly built cozy 4-bedroom cabin steps from Horseshoe Lake in Minong, Wisconsin
Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. Just feet from Horseshoe Lake, this newly-built cabin was built on an existing footprint from the old place we scraped. Using the original foundation, we were able to keep the building just 50 feet from the waters edge. The small (190 acre) Horseshoe Lake is surrounded by hills and forest and adorned by some beautiful homes. This one included. The outdoor spaces include a wrap around porch, fire pit and sandy beach with a dock. The home provides 4 beds/bedrooms (1 king, 1 full, & 2 queens), 3 bathrooms and everything you need for a comfortable escape.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

About the host
Hosted by Chris Davis
Chris and Margaret. We have a family cabin nearby. We love the area and we have spent nearly 20 years hosting family and friends "at the lake". Let us know if you have any special requests or needs during your stay.
Why they chose this property
This is a quiet, remote setting on a small lake (190 acres). Horseshoe lake boasts great panfish fishing and paddling on this sandy hard-bottomed lake. 10 minutes from the town of Minong, 30 to Spooner and 40 to Hayward.
What makes this property unique
Just feet from the shoreline, this place was built on an existing foundation. The main-level windows and the lake view bring in loads of sunlight from dawn till early afternoon. The sunrise here is incredible.
The kitchen is made for cooking. There is a blackstone griddle on the deck and a firepit on the lakeside. Chris and Margaret pride themselves on providing recreation equipment. Snowshoes in the winter. Canoe, kayak, paddles, lifejackets in the summer. Even a couple fishing rods and tackle for chasing the panfish or pike.
