Welcome to this charming cottage in Panama City. This excellent property features 2 cozy bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with a bunk bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a hair dryer for your convenience. In the additional living space, you'll find a comfy sofa bed perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Feel free to reach out to us during your stay - we're happy to suggest local spots to check out.

Private Waterfront Cottage - Centrally Located to Beaches, Colleges, Publix Sports Complex, Frank Brown Park Sports Complex, and Historic St Andrews. This is a small space, but well-suited for singles, couples, and small families. A family up to 4, or 5 with little ones, should not feel cramped. The main bedroom is a good size, and the bunk nook separates from the living space for privacy. Additionally, you will find the outdoor space adds to the indoor space. The spacious porch is divided into two parts. The front of the house is screened in for outdoor dining or just a little front porch sittin'. The side (backside) of the porch overlooks the canal and the open sky. It is a great place to sit and watch the ducks while you listen to the breeze that runs through the trees that surround the cottage. Please review pictures for spatial awareness.

Have a boat? This oversized property has space for parking a boat or trailer (if you prefer to lease dock space nearby). There are two public boat launches only minutes away and a small marina at the opening of the canal that this house rests beside.

Interested in renting a kayak, or two? For an additional fee, you can rent kayaks while staying at Turtle Cove. It is a very peaceful, short ride down the canal to the open bay where you can watch a magnificent sunrise or sunset...or just spend a little time fishing and playing in the open water. Ask me for additional information.

Are you looking for extra concierge services such as bonfires, fishing excursions, jet ski/boat rentals, shell island tours, etc? Please let me know, and I will be happy to help you setup the perfect vacation.

Additionally, this centrally located cottage is only 7 miles from St. Andrew's State Park and Panama City's Most Beautiful Beaches, 1 mile from Gulf Coast State College, 4 miles from Gulf Coast Hospital, 1.5 miles from historic St. Andrews Marina and Restaurants, and 11 miles from Pier Park.

Perfect place close to the beach

A great little house with everything we needed for a weeks stay. On a 15 minute drive to the beach. My kids especially loved watching the crabs out back during low tide.

Really enjoyed the stay, clean, host was wonderful, easy access to everything, neighborhood was a little old but once you pulled in the driveway it felt like another world. Will hopefully back later this year for the second trip if it’s available!

Exactly what we needed

Clean, quiet, away from the business but close enough to access everything we wanted. I really wish i had brought our kayaks but we stayed going so much it would've been hard to fit extra in. This place was just perfect for our needs and we are already planning a return adventure, thank you for letting us share with you!

This was the perfect little home for us during our soccer tournament. Location was minutes away from fields, restaurants, beach, and shopping. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids enjoyed fishing from the bank during our stay. Perfect little home for a small family!

Why they chose this property

My favorite beach is St. Andrew's State Park. It not only has pristine beaches, as does the rest of our area, but it also has an area for little ones to splash around without the worry of waves, etc. That's not all! It also has great nature trails, fishing, and snorkeling. It's just a beautiful location where you can take a picnic or grill out on their beachside grills. Oh, and don't forget to take a walk on their long pier and watch the sunset!

If you choose to stay at this location, you will have access to ample free public beaches, all about 10-15 minutes away your vacation home, along what is affectionately known as the "Thomas Drive" area, and the best part is that you will not have to face the heavy traffic in this prime spot OR the high costs of staying directly on the beach.

In adition to the close proximity of the beaches, you will be very close to Gulf Coast State College, Florida State University Panama City Branch, and a short ride to the sports complexes.

This neighborhood truly is the center of all things you would want to do while also providing you privacy and peace.


What makes this property unique

The privacy of our cottage is extremely special. You will find Turtle Cove tucked back behind the other homes alongside the canal. The home is not seen by the street side, and when you come upon the cottage, that and the trees that surround the property's edge make for a very private area where you can unwind and enjoy.

Even though you will not be directly on the beach, you will be on the water.The canal enables you to kayak, paddle board, or fish right from the backyard. If you don't want to paddle, don't worry; you can simply sit along the canal side (don't forget the spacious deck) or fish right off the bank of the backyard. If you want a little wider view of the bay, you can walk the short block to the end of the street where you will find a little park near the small bridge. Although, many guests have caught trout off our bank and one even caught a flounder!

This cottage is a jewel: rare find and beautiful in nature!
