We loved the playhouse so much the first time we stayed that we had to come back! We spent the weekend here for our 2nd anniversary and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The views are amazing, the cabin itself is so unique and beautifully crafted, and the hot tub is a nice touch. Dan and Carol Ann are wonderful hosts and really do think of everything down to the tiny details. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable and gorgeous cabin and the hosts added many personal touches, including a card and bottle of champagne for our anniversary. The hot tub was all warmed up and ready for us to enjoy, which we certainly did . Highly recommended. Thank you Carole Ann and Dan

This cabin is the absolute perfect getaway for a couple! It was so cozy and had everything that we needed to be comfortable. It was very clean and the communication with the host was great. They even invited us to watch their fireworks since it was New Years. The views are stunning and the hot tub was fantastic. We loved the loft bedroom. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, we highly recommend staying here.

We had a great time at The Playhouse with our 2 older daughters. The owners are very nice and made sure we had everything we needed, including bday candles for our daughter. Such a cute, very nice, new and clean little cabin with a beautiful view and wonderful place to hang out and relax by the fire and in the hot tub. We hope to make it back again one day!

Amazing hosts

Can't praise our hosts enough, they were eager to accommodate any need to make our stay perfect. The cabin is cute and immaculate and has everything in a compact size. Our kids loved it too even though they had to share the futon it was huge for them. Will keep them in mind for future trips to Sandpoint and recommend to anyone and everyone. Thanks for being such magnificent hosts, and two of the friendliest people I've ever met!

Perfect get away!

Perfect ski weekend getaway. This cabin exceeded our expectations with its immaculate cleanliness and stunning mountain views. The modern-rustic decor and attention to detail throughout made the space feel both luxurious and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and the hot tub was pristine - perfect after a day on the slopes. The hosts are wonderful - they made us feel genuinely welcome. Would definitely book again!

We are very sorry you that you felt that way. We had to investigate when our dog was upset and not coming back to us. We found 7 extra people and a big dog. This all went against the house rules, but we chose to let your wife enjoy her birthday.

A Perfect Christmas Getaway! We stayed at this Idaho cabin over Christmas, and it truly made our holiday unforgettable. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and beautifully prepared for a winter stay. It felt even better than the photos, warm, peaceful, and surrounded by the kind of quiet beauty you hope for during the holidays. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of our stay was their grandson, who was fantastic with our kids (ages 8–13). He added so much joy to the trip and helped make the experience even more special for them.Everything about this cabin exceeded our expectations, from the well‑stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds and thoughtful touches throughout. Communication was smooth, check‑in was easy, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend Christmas. We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for the perfect Idaho escape.

From the very beginning of booking their Christmas family getaway, the communication was amazing and responsive. This family is top notch! They left the cabin immaculant and in perfect condition. They went the extra effort to make sure it all was squeaky clean. The children melted us, as we all were sledding and playing in the snow together. We are looking forward to future visits!
