House was in okay condition, however BBQ was not working, no exhaust fan in one of the bathrooms and tiles on the main verandah were very slippery. There was also no A/C in two of the rooms which got very hot and curtains weren’t proper block out so our baby had trouble sleeping during the day. No travel cot was able to be made available for us either so we had to bring over with us, this is the first time I’ve had this happen at accomodation. Location was central but not the safest area of town (we weren’t familiar with the area prior to booking).

Firstly, I am so sorry for your unpleasant experience. But I have to explain as below:
I didn’t list a BBQ under this property, even there is a BBQ (out of service) in the back verandah.
There is no aircon in two bedrooms, but one fan is in each room.
For the travel cot, as soon as you booked the house, I had explained that I don’t have one, sorry. Parents like to bring their own travel cot for their baby to avoid germs.
Over 3 years Airbnb and booking host, there is no one complaining about the verandah floor slippery.
It is hard to make everybody happy.
