About the host
Hosted by Michael D. Krug

My brother Jason and I are from Russell, Kansas. This house and the property it is on have been in our family since 1950. The house was built in 1885 and hadn't been lived in for quite some time. We decided to renovate the property in 2022. We first started it sharing it with everyone in January of 2024. We have enjoyed hearing how much people enjoy staying at our farmhouse on Canyon Acres Ranch.
Why they chose this property
Our Great Grandfather purchased this in 1950, so we didn't choose it, but we are glad he did!
What makes this property unique
It's an old house that has been completely remodeled and updated, so you get the best of both worlds, old school and modern.
