5-min walk to DC convention center! Family sized condo in downtown DC

Most walkable + safe residential locations in DC: one block from the W.E. Convention Center, less than 10 10-minute walk to the Cap. Arena, and a 20-minute walk to the National Mall with its lovely Smithsonian Museums, White House, Chinatown, with some of the city's best dining and nightlife a stone's throw away. We have a queen bed and 2 twin folding beds upon request.

In addition the unit has an air mattress and a futon. So at the maximum, this unit can host 4 people comfortably and up to 6 (if above 4, expect it to be a little tight).

The space is well lit and has own bathroom, kitchen, and private unit entrance and common building stairway that is outside the units. You will NOT go through other units to access your bnb.

Message us if you are interested in toddler friendly stay options. We’d be happy to help set up baby/toddler friendly arrangement for you.

The property is a block away from Mount Vernon yellow and green line metro stop.

If arriving from DCA (Reagan) airport : you have an option to take the yellow line towards Greenbelt from the DCA airport and get down at Mount Vernon stop.

If arriving from IAD(dulles) airport:
you have the option to take the silver line towards largo.
Take the silver line and get down at L’enfant metro stop.
At L’enfant metro stop, change from silver line to yellow or green line towards Huntington and Branch Avenue respectively. at L’enfant metro stop you'll be changing platforms (going to upper level) to get to the yellow and green line.

Once you are in yellow or green line, get down at Mount Vernon metro stop.

Your bnb is a block away from Mount Vernon metro stop.

You have access to the entire unit on floor 2.

This is a 3-floor townhome converted into bnb. Think of this as a three story apartment building, all with its own separate entrance through a common stairway that is outside the bnb units.

This unit is on floor 2 and will require climbing the type of stairs that you find in normal townhomes.

If you book for more than 2 guests, let us know in advance so we can provide rollaway beds. we provide upto 3 rollaway beds for this unit. In addition, our existing futon opens up as well. We can also provide air mattress.

Typically guests prefer to set up the beds after their arrival, upon inspection of the space, futon, and airmattress. Let us know what you prefer.

Please let us know a day in advance so we can prep them for your stay.

Please note that it will be a bit tight for >4 guests in ~750 sqft (typically larger than most DC/NYC hotel rooms). But, we’ll be happy to accommodate you, if you are looking for a quick stay for a 5 people group.

on rare occasions, we do accommodate 6 guests but please note that it will be tight and do not recommend if staying for more than couple of nights.

Plenty of DC homes have this floor as a 2 bedroom units. But we’ve left ours as a spacious 1 bedroom unit and provide additional beds, if needed, to create a sense of spaciousness in the tight city.

Guests are often pleasantly surprised of how spacious it is.
