A friend and I stayed here during ACL, and we had a great experience! While small, everything was exactly as described, and the host was very communicative and welcoming. The neighborhood felt very safe, the room was clean and had everything you need for a quick weekend trip. Although it is attached to the host's house, the separate staircase allows for plenty of privacy, and we didn't have to worry about coming and going. Would definitely book here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We've been coming to Austin for many years, and deeply love the Travis Heights neighborhood. This guesthouse has that old Austin feel, which we adore. Check in was easy, instructions were easy to follow. We ran into the host a couple of times, and they were incredibly kind and welcoming. We loved being able to look out our windows to the backyard to bird/squirrel watch while getting ready in the morning. The neighborhood is close to restaurants and shops. 10/10!
