Summary:

Welcome to oceanfront living at its finest at Hali'i Kai. Hali'i Kai is a direct oceanfront complex apart of the Waikoloa Beach Resort and has all the attributes you could desire on your Big Island of Hawaii vacation. Maximum occupancy strictly enforced in accordance with local ordinances.



The Space:

We provide 2 beach chairs and 1 cooler for guest use. Additionally, any beach equipment left behind by previous guests, including sunscreen, floats, and snorkels, is available for your enjoyment, feel free to use it during your stay!



There is a large resort quality pool overlooking the ocean and a poolside restaurant and bar. Gaze across the beautiful Pacific and spend your day watching whales as they frolic in our Hawaiian waters. Pamper yourself in the spa or BBQ while you watch the spectacular sunsets slip beneath the horizon. Enjoy snorkeling and soak up the sun at "A" Bay. Dining and shopping at the King and Queens Shops and a variety of recreational activities await you at the Waikoloa Beach Resort. Hali'i Kai 15A is a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom vacation home perfect for all as it can accommodate up to 5 guests.



This tropical home features vibrant colors, modern furnishings, and of course an ocean view. Granite countertops and upgraded appliances are perfect for whipping up meals in the gourmet kitchen. Seating for 4 is situated at the built-in breakfast bar for dining space. Enjoy dinner around the dining table with seating for 4. Step outside onto the private lanai and heat up the BBQ. A kitchenette and patio seating are let you dine outside while watching the waves crash below.



A cozy sectional couch is placed in the living room before a TV. Pop a movie in the DVD player and relax with your loved ones at night. A stereo, WIFI, laundry room, and central air conditioning are provided for your convenience.



The master bedroom has a King-sized bed and TV. The master bathroom is spa-worthy, with a Jacuzzi bathtub, standalone shower, and dual sinks. The guest bedroom is furnished with a Queen-sized bed, a Twin-sized bed and TV. The guest bathroom has a shower/tub combo and separate vanity with dual sinks.



THINGS TO NOTE:

- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property, on the premises, and in any nearby common areas. Violations will result in an automatic $500 fine, plus any additional costs for carpet and upholstery cleaning or other damages caused.

- Guests are responsible for a daily $25 Resort Fee plus tax, payable directly to the front desk upon arrival and registration. During the registration process, guests will receive parking permits and key cards, which provide access to the communal amenities. Equal Housing Opportunity

Great location, wonderful condo!

We loved the location as well as the resort-beautiful pool, quiet, ocean front, just beautiful. 15A is literally oceanfront, so sitting on the lanai or looking out the primary bedroom window was like sitting on a cruise ship watching the ocean right in front of you! We enjoyed the tasteful decor, the stocked kitchen and the peace and quiet. Will return!

Lovely unit with amazing views!

I stayed here for a week in mid July. The unit was beautifully decorated and very well stocked with kitchen essentials and linens. There were also a couple beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards in a closet. The pool area was as nice as many of the resorts. Onsite restaurant was a nice option. The sunsets can't be beat. Highly recommend!

Sunsets and Whales!

We’ve stayed at Hali’i Kai several times and it never disappoints - beautiful location, perfect sunsets and, depending on the time of year, perfect whale watching. The Ocean Club is a great place to hang out and watch sunset, no matter which unit you’re staying in We used the lanai BBQ several times, grilling your dinner at sunset with whales frolicking - can’t get better!

Beautiful condo, it was very peaceful and we loved the fisherman’s trail along the coast. I recommend bringing good soled shoes to walk the lava path.

Don’t pass this condo up! Book if you can! Beautiful oceanfront condo with amazing views. The condo was spotless and well appointed. The grounds were beautiful and the complex is located within a great location! Check in was very easy and we did not have one issue with condo during our stay! This place is a gem and my family and I will definitely be back!!

Wonderful location

The online photos of the property were very accurate. The location and views are spectacular! We truly did sit on the lanai and watch whales and dolphins cavorting in the ocean just in front of us. The rooms were a good size and bathrooms too. The kitchen was adequate and the appliances all worked. It is situated in a nice well maintained community that offers a lot of privacy. Also the community is close to restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here in the future.

Amazing location in Waikoloa

My family had an incredibly relaxing time in this condo. The ocean view and close proximity to the Ocean Club (pool area) make it tough to ever feel like you need to leave the resort. The condo itself was great and check-in was a breeze. The condo is modern and well appointed. While the overall cleanliness wasn't perfect (laundry left in dryer, drains need clearing, stained pillowcases), I wouldn't hesitate to try and stay here again the next time we are on the big island.

Perfection!

Not only is the unit itself amazing, but the property is beautiful, well kept, and very peaceful. We loved everything about our stay- mornings on the lanai with a cup of coffee were the best. We made use of the AC from time to time but the fans made a lovely air flow themselves that kept the unit nice and cool. The pool is gorgeous and it was really fun having the bar/restaurant right there as well. We also enjoyed the walk down the lava path to Honoka’Ope Bay Beach. We will, without a doubt, stay here again!

Look No Further

Words cannot express how much we enjoyed every minute of our 18 days at this property! It was sparkling clean and the view overlooking the lava and ocean was unbeatable. We spent so much time on the lanai watching the whales. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with all the tools you’ll need to make meals and having the restaurant on property was so convenient. Communication with the host was also great. We hope to return to this property in the future as we made so many memories here.

Great view, quiet complex

The complex itself was gorgeous and very quiet. It is smaller and appeared to be a place where many people lived year round. If you are looking for a resort with all the "action" this would not be for you. However, if you want a quiet private get away it is wonderful. There is no music or activities at the pool but there is a bar and restaurant. The pool was very nice and the views were amazing. The condo itself was very large with an amazing amount of storage. As I said, the kind of place you could easily live in year round. It is literally right on the ocean so the views are spectacular. There is no beach in this area though. There is probably 30 yards of lava rock between you and the ocean. A few concerns we had with the unit that kept me from giving it a higher overall rating were the cleanliness of the master bath shower, the lack of supplies at the condo, and some minor things that needed repair. The handle for the master shower is in need of replacement. Once we figured it out it was fine but it definitely needs to be replaced. This shower needs a very good scrubbing though. When dry you could see a white film settled on the tile. I think it just needs a really good scrubbing. The bigger concern was the lack of supplies at the condo. Pot, pans, utensils and all of the was there but no basic supplies that you would need to be there for an extended period of time. I have never rented a condo like this that did not have salt, pepper, paper towel, plastic wrap, a starter supply of coffee, etc. All of that should have been there. We even had to buy extra toilet paper as we only had two rolls per bathroom when we arrived and we had four people staying there for a week. There are some thing that just need minor repair too. For example, could not get the remotes to operate the TV. We also noticed that the brand of the remotes did not even match the TV. The BBQ grill needed a good cleaning, one of the patio lights did not work, etc. Overall the condo was very nice and I can't imagine a better view. There is a ton of space in this unit as well. Not sure how often the owners visit but the condo needs a bit of TLC and it would be a five start.

Family Spring Break

15A gave our family of 4 a wonderful home base in Hawaii for spring break. The condo was truly ocean front. Providing stunning sunsets and a lanai for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. We walked into Waikoloa (1.5 miles) for dinners at various restaurants. The beautiful pool and pool bar/restaurant was a huge value add to end our day after excursions. The condo itself was clean, spacious, well stocked with utensils and pots/pans. As indicated, all food related items (including oils and spices) need to be brought by renters. We were unable to check out tennis and other gear at the front desk. We had been told we could, so FYI, that was not the case. Renters not allowed. We had a lovely week here. We would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family. Aloha!

Beautiful oceanfront property!

We had such a great time staying for a week at this property! The views are breathtaking and so amazing to wake up to every day! The size and privacy of each bedroom was perfect for our family. They also have a child’s booster seat & portable crib too, which is great for small children! My only complaint is the 10am check out time. Would have much preferred it to be 11am or 12pm like a hotel.

This property is in a lovely area, but this unit ruins that by the lack of cleanliness and all the furniture is so old, stained, and uncomfortable. The company who manages this property is in California and has no clue what they are doing. Do not stay at this unit

It’s all about the location !!!

Hali’i Kai 15A is beautifully located right on the ocean .... whale watching off the lanai is perfect in the winter months. The decor is showing It’s age however ..... some freshening up would do it wonders. The new mattresses are very comfortable .... a big thanks to the owners !! The Hali’i Kai property is very beautiful and the pool area is wonderful. If you’re lucky enough to book this condo, you won’t be sorry !!!

A quieter resort stay

Clean, quiet yet nearby to shopping and restaurants. Surrounding views and landscape are beautiful. The pool clubhouse is an added bonus serving drinks and food. Kudos to Mary and Daniel. They really make your stay a plus.

Great Location, Good Condo, Poorly Managed Property

We arrived to this beautifully-located property, close to the pool, with an amazing view of the ocean. We were disappointed to only be provided with two cheap rolls of toilet paper for our ten-day stay (which was pricy, but understandable for the Christmas season). Extremely limited startup supplies - no paper towel, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the place - comforter and blanket stained with blood and toilets had not been cleaned. I also requested a late checkout, as no new tenants were coming until the next day, and was charged a $60 fee, which seemed unnecessary given my 10-night stay at premium prices. Overall, great view, friendly staff, but lack of attention to detail in the condo.

Had everything we were looking for... * Property in a quiet area with all necessary ameneties * Shops and groceries nearby * 25 mins from airport * Short drive to many eateries on Ali'i Dr * Great location to begin a trek to see the sites from the Waipi'o Valley an hour north to the top of Mauna Kea or Hawaii Volcanoes NP each about a 2-hour drive away
