Our renovated corner position apartment features breathtaking views of the mountain and the Ten Mile Range and is located just 40 yards from the American Eagle lift in Centre Village. There are two spacious bedrooms, three freshly renovated bathrooms, a modern fully equipped kitchen and a large living room with 180 degree views of the ski slope and surrounding ranges and an open fireplace.
There are three TVs each with satellite and a DVD player and free WiFi. In short, everything you need for a memorable ski vacation.
Our building, Mountain Plaza, fronts the ski area and is steps from the main lift, the Eagle, in Center Village. With ski lockers on the first floor, and parking in the building or on the adjacent lot, the start and end to your day couldn’t be easier. There are indoor and outdoor hot tubs. The building also features a Starbucks center and one of Copper’s most popular bistros (Ten Mile Tavern - formerly Endo's) on the first floor.
When you finish a hard day's skiing or snow boarding you will really appreciate the location ... a short level walk to the ski locker and then the elevator almost to your door.

Main Bedroom features a king size bed and adjacent bathroom with a luxurious full-size shower with frameless glass screen, toilet and sink.
Second Bedroom features two full Queen beds , an en-suite bathroom with full-size bath with shower, toilet and sink.
The open plan kitchen / dining / lounge area comprises a modern kitchen with granite counter tops, ice-making refrigerator, electric stove and oven and microwaves and of course a dishwasher.
The paneled dining area seats six in comfort at a high pub-style table. In the lounge there is a queen sofa bed (sleeps two) three comfortable armchairs, a second matching sleeper sofa and an open fire place with free wood.
Over the fireplace is a 40 inch plasma TV with access to over 300 cable channels as well as DVD and stereo.

Great Family Vacation
Stayed at this wonderful ski-in ski-out apartment with my family and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
Great amenities, service and comfort. Located just outside the lifts. The owner and management were very responsive to our needs and willing to help out in whatever way possible.

Perfect location for those who enjoy American Flyer and American Eagle lifts. The bus picks up right outside the condo for those going to East or West Village. I would definitely stay here every year.

Great Family Vacation
Our family of ten; six adults and four children ages 4,6,10 and 12 stayed at the condo for our annual family vacation. We had plenty of room! The condo was very nice and convenient to slopes, restaurants, shopping and buses to east and west villages. Peter the owner and David the onsite property manager were wonderful to work with. David met us on arrival and helped us get everything into the condo. He was a phone call away if we needed anything. Peter was great to work with and gave us tons of information about the area and coupons for ski rental and lift tickets. The only concern we had was that the pull out couch mattresses were thin and not very comfortable. We would definitely stay at this condo again!

Thanks for the positive review, I'm sorry you found the sofa sleepers uncomfortable. The mattress is standard for this type of bed, and can't really be any thicker because of the need to fold the bed away into the body of the sofa. It is best suited for children or at most one adult. I believe you mentioned when booking there were ten guests in your party and if each sofa sleeper was used for two people then I am sorry - but not surprised - that they proved less than satisfactory. I will explore obtaining some kind of mattress topper. Another solution is to remove the mattress and place it on the floor.

Returning to Copper was everything we expected and MORE!!!
The owner of this condo is amazing to work with, very organized! He was very fast to respond to any questions by email or phone and our security deposit was returned right away. The owner is not on site but a property manager is there 24/7 for anything you may need. The property manager was able to allow us early check in, met us outside Mountain Plaza, gave us the keys/parking pass/ski pass, answered questions, brought us extra towels for the hot tub, brought a pack n play for my son, and even helped us with our luggage......WOW........wonderful first impression! The condo location is amazing! You will not be disappointed. Ski lockers are included and you seriously just walk out the front door and you are at the lift! We cooked meals in the condo and the kitchen was stocked perfectly. The property was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I would recommend this property to everyone. For us, one of the biggest selling points of this property were the 2 lift tickets that were included. We can not wait to come back next February.

Check-in Insufficiency
The condo is sited conveniently and is a decent place to stay. Property itself is fine.
We didn't use the bedroom TVs (and didn't really try to get them working beyond an initial check for turning on that failed), so that wasn't a issue for us but others should be warned.
The hot water issue in the master bathroom is accurate; it will warm up (more) after several minutes, but that seems rather wasteful for such a precious resource.
Major fail (VRBO? or owner?) was that only partial information (location and getting to building) was provided in advance. We arrived without info about accessing lockbox for key and getting into the unit. We had to call owner to walk through getting access and that could have been avoidable with sufficient up-front information. Talking with him, he also said he'd send parking pass to "print" (not sure how we'd do that without a printer in the unit) and that never happened, even after a later email query about that.
We eventually found the parking pass "hidden" in a kitchen drawer that we found after we'd been there a couple days. Thankfully, since we were "off season" and the parking garage was not very full, it wasn't an issue; didn't seem that anyone checked for passes in the garage (whew).
(I rate owner communication only "acceptable, merely", given that he didn't follow through on parking or a "check-up" email after a day to verify we were OK. He was on top of things asking about whether we'd like later check-out (that we didn't use), but that seemed a bit insincere given the prior non-responsiveness about check-in hassle and parking pass mystery location.)
Not the best experience I've had with the "administration" aspects of vacation rentals. Oy! But property was OK and we had a good stay.
The host was extremely cordial and responsive, making it easy to get details and adjust arrangements. Condo not only had superb location, it was also well equipped—even including amenities such as small tubes of hand lotion.
Great property and proximity to ski slopes and restaurants.

Disappointed in the condo
There was no trash can in the kitchen. The shower door leaks, a lot. You had better keep a large towel on the floor in front of the door. The humidifiers don’t work. They dumped all the water out on the dresser. The mirror in the main bedroom is only for very tall people. Most average height women will not be able to see in it. You need to be at least 6 feet. The hair dryer in the main bath doesn’t get hot. It needs to be replaced.
The location of this property can not be beat. It is super close to the American Eagle and American Flyer Lifts. It is also very close to the shuttle stop if you prefer to start out on the East Village or West Village lifts. The first floor ski lockers make the entire condo to ski slope experience even easier. There is even a Starbucks in the building! :)
The condo itself is very roomy and comfortable. The living area is one of the largest I've seen in a ski in/ski out condo. The beds were comfortable, the mattress on the sleeper sofa was nice and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed - and we cooked almost all of our meals.
The third bathroom was a huge bonus as was garage parking for primary and secondary vehicles. I would 100% stay in this condo again and hope to do so in the future.
Quick response to my reservation request. Provided simple detailed check-in instructions. Very spacious, comfortable beds, three bathrooms meant no waiting. Center village location was very convenient for restaurants, snacks and sundries. Many activities within short walks, several trails without having to drive, and a ton more trails within 10-min drive. Didn’t cook in the condo so no comment there; just made toast and coffee. Communication with owner was quick, friendly and thorough. Hope we can get up there next year.
I stayed here while my kids were at the Woodward Camp. Such ana amazing location, it is within walking distance of everything in Cooper and a short drive to Frisco, Breckenridge, and Vail. Peter and team are great to work with and the condo has everything you would need. Thank you for a great week!
Not sure this is the right venue, but the faucet in one of the bathrooms is not working properly. I had to turn off the flow from under the sink to get the hot water to stop running. Best to have that taken care of. Thanks, jay
Really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The condo is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The proximity to the slopes cannot be beat. The entrance to the condo is right off the elevator which make it very convenient. Peter, the host, is friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely come back and stay here again.

Poor plumbing - had to run hot water in shower for literally 10 minutes before it got hot. One bathroom sink would not drain. Paint peeling and falling down in shower ceiling. Beds and couches old and lumpy. Walls were dirty. No window coverings in main room, and windows so dirty you could not see the mountain with sun glaring off them. In general poor upkeep and worn out.

This guest's opinion is in stark contrast to the other genuine very favorable reviews. The first I have heard of the various issues are via this review.
Addressing each comment: the condo is a corner unit at the end of the line and one shower takes a little longer to get hot at shower "rush hour" when folks come in off the slopes. My check in info mentions this and advises to leave it running for a bit (3 - 4 mins). If the wait is unacceptable, there are two other showers in the condo that get hot immediately. The slow sink must have just started playing up and it was snaked as soon as I was made aware of the problem - and I have the receipt to prove it. I am not aware nor have I received complaints of peeling paint in the shower - as of my last visit in January 2020 that wasn't present. The beds and couches are not new, but they are not old or worn out - they are used for less than 100 days per year - less than a third of the use they would get in a domestic setting. The window in the living room is deliberately left uncovered so as to feature the beautiful mountain view. As regards cleanliness of windows and walls, the unit is professionally and thoroughly cleaned after every stay. If the windows were dirty, it may have been the outside floor-to-ceiling glass which is exposed to the snow and there have been heavy snowfalls this season. It is cleaned periodically by the HOA - it cannot be cleaned from inside.
I have reached out to the guest to get more information because I want to ensure any maintenance issues are attended to promptly.
Very large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Easily fit 4 teenage girls in the room with 2 queen beds. Not the fanciest, but if you want to be close to the slopes it’s a great place. Owner was very responsive with a cable tv issue we had.
We go on an annual ski trip with our adult children to ski and relax. This is the most convenient place we have ever stayed. The underground parking garage is a few steps to the elevator to the condo. The ski lockers are conveniently located by the door that you step out of to get on the lift! We parked our car and never moved it for 5 days. We rented equipment at Copper and grabbed drinks there too! The condo was perfect with 3 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Peter is an excellent host. We highly recommend!!!!!!

Great location...old building
Location for this property is great...short walk to American Flyer and American Eagle. But the building is very outdated, and even with some renovations in the unit, it needs sprucing up. The master bath looks nice but is not functional. All the pillows are shabby and the furniture is worn. One of the ski locker keys wouldn't work and the garage pass didn't work. And the garage design is so old, our SUV wouldn't fit with a ski rack. Areas of the unit were a bit dirty. This unit is also right across from the elevator so it is noisy with people at night and early morning. The hot tubs for the building are very dated and the inside one wasn't heated. If you only care about location, this one is great. But comfort-wise, I would choose a different one.

Responding to some of the comments, we agree the location is terrific. The building was indeed constructed many years ago and as a result offers extremely spacious accommodations, in this case, 1200 square feet, spread across the living area, 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The building is currently undergoing rejuvenation and redecoration and this has commenced on our floor.
The master bathroom offers a walk-in shower, a toilet and sink and all of these function as intended. If “non functional” refers to the absence of a bath tub, the other two bathrooms each offer a tub in addition to a toilet and a sink. The furniture was purchased a few years back but remains in good condition. Each apartment offers three large ski lockers. We are sorry that one of the locks was problematic and we removed the key to avoid guests’ skis or boards getting locked inside. The building management is repairing the lock. The other two lockers remained available for use. The electronic card key did not work on the first occasion but a replacement was promptly provided to the guest. The garage accommodates all manner of vehicles, the height of the door is 6 feet 8 inches and this is the first occasion we have received such a complaint. The proximity to the elevator is usually seen as convenient, and again, this is the first complaint about noise we have received. The hot tubs were replaced by the building less than five years ago. The outdoor hot tub is large and offers great views of the surrounding mountains. The indoor hot tub was closed for renovations in January so we are not sure of the basis for this complaint.

Great location. Could not be more convenient. Cozy and spacious.
Less than a minute walk from ski rental, dinning, the convenience market and the American Eagle ski lift. Don't let the 3rd floor room be a concern. Elevator opens directly across the hall from the room. Ski locker located on first floor on you way out the door. Room was cozy and relaxing. Family really enjoyed the wood fireplace. Full kitchen made eating in a breeze. WiFi supported 4 teenagers and streaming video on TV. The three full baths were wonderful for our group of 6. Copper tip for beginner skiers, easiest runs are out of West Village, but the free shuttle bus is a five minute ride and always on time. Another tip, owner will provide check in instructions. PRINT AND FOLLOW THEM. We did and had no problems checking in or out. We will definitely consider this property when we return to Copper.

Hey! I'm Peter, and thanks for checking out our condo. Our family loves Copper Mountain. We have skiied here for over 15 years. In 2012 I broke my arm skiing on one ski (yes, idiotic - first injury in 30+ years skiing) and killed some time looking at the realtor's window while the family were on the slopes. Talk about retail therapy ! Now we own this condo and I am back on the slopes (on two skis).
