Located ONE BLOCK off our famous 3rd Street - our Wine Country Farmhouse is perfect for those interested in staying right in the mix of all that is McMinnville.

Within walking distance, you will enjoy 17 wineries & tasting rooms, 34 unique restaurants, 7 tap-rooms & breweries, and wander 14 stroll-able blocks. The Evergreen Air Museum and water park are less than a mile away, as is Linfield College.

This circa 1911 home has been lovingly cared for and features a beautiful farmhouse kitchen, equipped with all the necessities, furnished in the period of the home, and roomy for group cooking and gathering.

There are two bathrooms in the home, one upstairs and one downstairs. The downstairs bath has a tub/shower unit, and the upstairs bath features a roomy tile tub/shower combination.

Three luxuriously furnished bedrooms are available. The primary bedroom with a king bed is located upstairs and is connected to a full bath. The 2nd bedroom is upstairs with a queen bed, and the 3rd bedroom with a queen bed is located on the main floor and has its own outdoor patio space.

The landscaped backyard is fully fenced and is great for families and pets. There is a large patio area that is partially covered with a gas grill, patio furniture, and outdoor lighting.

Guests will enjoy this professionally decorated home, which features an eclectic mix of new polished pieces, local art, and treasured antiques.

The home features Wi-Fi and SmartTV, where you'll be able to watch 1,000's of free shows, movies, and live TV. For the convenience of our guests, we also offer the use of a washer/dryer located in the utility room.

Oregon Wine Country

The property condition and location were awesome! This was a quaint farmhouse one block off the downtown district of McMinnville. We made breakfast each day in the kitchen, ate in the dining room and left to explore wineries. The back porch was a favorite for evening activities like playing cards and having a beverage or two!

Amazing weekend getaway

We booked this place with some friends to celebrate some birthdays in Oregon wine country. The house was clean, cozy, had an amazing backyard, and the proximity to downtown McMinville was so convenient! We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Great location/ lots of amenities

Great location, easy walking distance to 3rd street. Host was very responsive, had a little issue with a tap & had someone over to fix it the next day. The kitchen & the rest of the house had more than ample supplies. I would definitely recommend staying here.

It was a girls weekend for us. We chose this location for its easy access to downtown and we truly were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit with no problem. We ate at a great little restaurant downtown with made from scratch food, two in fact. And, we found everyone to be really friendly. We took a private wine tour on our second day there which was really great. The house fulfilled all of our needs. There were four of us and two of us did share a bed. We love the plum tree outside and did partake of a few pieces of fruit. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio one evening as well. Everyone was very responsive throughout the process.The instructions were very clear and easy. We had no problems at the property. We were given all kinds of recommendations as well. We had one little glitch and we let the property manager know right away. It was immediately addressed overall we had a great stay here.

Fun Family Getaway

My family had a great time staying in the Wine Country Farmhouse. It is a short walk to great restaurants and shops. The home was cute, clean and had comfortable beds. We especially enjoyed sitting in the well-kept garden in the morning with our coffee. The home had everything we needed. We will rent again the next time in McMinnville.

Celebration time!

We were in town for a family wedding. We wanted a place close to town that would comfortably fit 5 adults. This place fit the bill! It was a very warm set of days and the air conditioning worked well. We were able to walk to town for coffee, lunch and browsing the many shops.

Fun wine tasting stay

Charming house, very clean and comfortable. Only a couple of things to note. Heavy street noise and the downstairs bedroom bathroom is off the kitchen. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the house.

Turkey Day Retreat

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend. Cooked and baked for two days in the awesome kitchen. Spent time in town visiting pubs, shops and restaurants. We went to Grain Station twice! Great service and food. Enjoyed a performance of Beauty and the Beast at the local theater, saw the parade and tree lighting too. The Flight Museum was fun as well. We were able to walk just about everywhere because of the great location. The house was super clean, nicely decorated and the beds were comfy. We would love to visit in the summer to make use of the cute backyard.

Great house in great location

The house is exactly as pictured. It is roomy, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were cozy. The kitchen is huge and seemed to have everything one could want - though the house is so close to town we just walked to restaurants. Everything was immaculate. Unfortunately it was cool and damp when we stayed, but the outside patio area was lovely and inviting. We were sorry the weather only allowed us to enjoy it from afar. It would be terrific on a nice day. The owner was very prompt in replying to questions and providing suggestions for places to eat. The whole process could not have been easier or more enjoyable.

Stay at McMinnville Property

The stay was fine … I’d give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. The property had a great location, and it was clean. One of the couples who stayed with me said their bed was uncomfortable - ear plugs were provided by the property manager and were needed for that bedroom. The beds in the other bedrooms were fine. The living room was a bit small - not ideal for 5 people. Three of us hurt our fingers opening/closing the front door with the key … we all banged and hurt our fingers … it’s fine once you learn the hard way to be very gentle and slow. I think if it was only 2 couples were staying the bed situation and living room situation would have been much better.

Farmhouse has the old character. Location is a block from the main downtown district. The street can be a little noisy. There are room air conditioners but not central air. But, The house was plenty cool for us even on hot day.Bedrooms and bathrooms very nice and clean. House is well equipped from cooking items to a private beautiful backyard with umbrella/chairs and patio heater. Nice grill too! Grill a couple steaks and have some Oregon wine!

We stayed at the farmhouse while we toured wine country and it was simply perfect! The location was great - walkable to shops and restaurants and an easy drive to wineries. This was the most charming (but also renovated) home — just one street off from Main Street, in a quiet neighborhood but walking distance to all the restaurants, with a beautiful backyard patio with a grill and comfy seating (perfect place for a group to hang out). Comfortable king bed in a bright master suite. Only down side would be if you have mobility issues: the master bedroom is up a steep, narrow staircase and I banged my knees a few times, but to be expected in an older home.

She had the Wine Country Farmhouse…he had the Walter Link House, which is how Anita and Larry met. Well... it was at the UFO Festival, but that’s another story. The result was another Vacation Rental, and now another one along the way. Both are natives who grew up in the wine industry; as kids, Anita picked grapes during harvest on one of the first vineyards in Dundee, and Larry was raised on a farm in what is now the McMinnville AVA. Like Salmon, they returned after exploring the world to pursue their passion in their hometown: preserving historic properties and sharing Oregon Wine Country with the world. By joining forces—with Anita’s background in real estate and Larry’s background in construction—they have created a solid team in the growing family of Wine Country Properties.

Wine Country Farmhouse located at 930 NE 2nd St. is Anita’s first VRBO. It was chosen for its excellent location (one block off 3rd St.) and turn of the century charm. We believe that if you are going to wine, dine and enjoy the downtown festivals, you should never have to drive.
