We stayed at this lovely property for a college graduation weekend. The house was pristine. It had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and quiet. We highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful space in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. Bed was super comfortable, plenty of linens, and the whole place very clean. I spent most of my time away and didn’t cook, but the kitchen appeared well stocked including basic spices and such. One day I drove into Boston (weekend parking at Garage at Post Office Square is only 10/day!!) and the other day, a weekday, I used public transportation. Both went really smoothly. David’s communication was, well, better than mine because everything was so perfect, I wasn’t checking the app as often as I could have. I am already planning a return trip with a friend!

What an amazing beautiful place. The host David was very kind and polite by leaving the lights on for us due to the fact that our flight was coming in late. I would recommend any of my friends and Family who are traveling to Boston and want a home away home feel.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful carriage house. David was extremely helpful in assisting us with information on transportation into Boston. He recommended restaurants and was just so very informative. We enjoyed our stay in his carriage house and would be willing to stay again if we return to Boston!

Sorry guest had just an Ok experience. Communication with guests is our strength. Unfortunately with this guest their communication efforts were not great. We communicate on a daily basis with all our guests to insure they enjoy their stay. This guest’s communication with us were infrequent and limited to just one or two word responses. If there is an issue with the stay we would have dealt with it immediately had it been brought to our attention. Nothing was mentioned to us about any problems. Unfortunately we can’t fix what we are not aware of.

West Roxbury stay for our Boston getaway

We were excited about the property we rented and it exceeded our expectations. The Carriage House is beautiful. David is a wonderful host who is very personable, very responsive, and clearly loves this area. The neighborhood is quiet, beautiful, and near cute shops and restaurants. It is a great home base for our touring of the Boston area. We highly recommend the Red Door Carriage House.

The kitchen was so well-stocked! Thanks, David, for the selection of Keurigs. We are heavy coffee drinkers and probably used more than our share. Check in was so simple. After a 14-hour drive, David met us at the car with a big welcome and helped us to get settled. Couldn’t ask for more!

lovely home in the best of boston neighborhoods

great stay for two couples as the bedrooms are on two separate floors. this carriage house is in a very high end neighborhood with close proximity 30 minutes to everything. home had everything we needed to cook, sleep comfortably and hang out with family. david was so accommodating and even brought in our delivered groceries when our flight was delayed. thanks david.
