We are nestled in the jungle above Samara and Nosara. Close enough to see the ocean but far enough away to escape the crowded streets and dusty roads. Our beautiful Casita gives you the chance to explore what Costa Rican jungles have to offer without even having to lace up your hiking shoes. We have daily sightings of howler monkeys, toucans, iguanas, pizotes and more. You can experience each of these without ever leaving your hammock or the shared infinity pool. This house is the style of a casita. It has an open floor plan with very high ceilings with teak milled from the property.
It is very clean and comfortable with impeccable views of the jungle, wildlife and the Pacific Ocean from the wrap around balcony. We are within Finca Cotinga Azul. 18km from Samara/Nosara.

You have access to our 2 acre grounds, pool and surrounding jungle.

Guido and I are two curious people that aren't afraid of change. We moved from the US in 2024 to take over these vacation rentals in the Costa Rican Jungle! We both come from careers that in a way dabble in hospitality so this also happens to be what we love. I am a retired Physical Therapist assistant and Guido continues to work as a Freelance camera man (video as opposed to stills). We both enjoy hearing guests stories as well as sharing what we have learned.

Why they chose this property

Guido and I traveled to this property as guests in 2021 and knew we needed to be here full-time. We purchased an empty lot within the finca in 2021 with plans to build closer to retirement. In 2024 we heard that the current owners of the vacation rentals wanted to sell and retire-and boom-here we are. Best decision ever!

What makes this property unique

It's hard to put into words what makes this property stand out. It's absolutely an emotion once you arrive here. In reading the guest reviews I think many people express that as best they can. It's absolutely stunning and a feeling of tranquility. Not just ocean, or jungle, or mountains, or cow pastures, or tropical birds.....It's all of it.
