Everything was just what you'd want a lake cottage to be. Newly renovated with a great design for fun and function. We were super happy about the basket of blankets...the mornings were chilly. The porch is set up to enjoy the surroundings in screened in comfort. Watch TV, nap on the swing, read on the couch. Really appreciated being able to bring our ShihTzu with us as she's family. Thank you for sharing your vacation getaway with us!

Location and cleanliness

The home was in a perfect location with perfect amenities. Deep water dock to dock our pontoon and a bass boat for a weekend fishing trip. Really close to the public boat landing.

Fun family getaway

Cute, clean and private cottage on the lake with an awesome covered porch. Our kids had a blast jumping off the dock and paddle boarding as well as our dog! We now have some more fun fishing stories from the good catfishing. Jacob was very accommodating with all our requestes. We'd definitely recommend this place. We'll be back!

A Perfect Getaway – Comfort, Charm, and Dog-Friendly!We had the most wonderful stay at this vacation rental and can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owners have put a lot of thought into creating a warm, welcoming space.The host provided so many thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra special.One of the biggest highlights for us was how dog-friendly the property was. It’s not always easy to travel with a pet, but this home made it effortless. It truly felt like he was just as welcome as we were. And believe me, he had just as good of a time as we did.Inside, the house was incredibly comfortable. We loved relaxing on the deck and screen porch with beautiful views of the lake. We also appreciated how quiet and peaceful the lake was.There was an awesome dock for fishing, swimming, and kayaking.Whether you're traveling with your dog or just looking for a relaxing, well-appointed place to stay, this property is a gem.

We had a perfect weekend at the lake for our girls trip. The highlight of the property is absolutely the screened in porch. We just about spent the whole weekend out there, it's so peaceful. Very convenient to Hartwell, we went into town for dinner one night. We did find the listing inaccurate in one point: the beds are 2 queens and 1 full. No king, which was disappointing. Overall: great stay! Would stay again. Will recommend to friends.
