Quiet property in a wonderful location close to everything
We absolutely loved our stay at this property in Broken Bow. It was exactly as described and was perfect for us to rent for our son's baseball tournament. The owner was easy to communicate with and the cabin was clean upon arrival. We will definitely rent this cabin again if we come back for another baseball tournament.
It was a meet up for a friend and I that I’ve known for 10 years and this was a halfway point for us. This cabin is new inside and out. It was in such a great spot too! This will be a cabin I will want to return to when we make another trip there.
We booked a last minute trip for our anniversary and this cabin was perfect. There are other cabins around but it’s secluded enough that we never saw anyone around us. Perfect escape for a weekend. Definitely will stay here again when we need another break from the world!
The cabin was perfect for our family Christmas! We loved staying here with our grandchildren! Wonderful place to stay!

Good, hot tub not operable
Hot tub amenity did not work. Quiet area, close to main areas of Hochatown , brown bow 15 mins away. Beaver Bend State park nearby, as well as brand new Choctaw Casino.
Home was just perfect for us. Clean, spacious, inviting and well equipped. Loved Hochatown and spent much of our time there and kayaking the river. Would highly recommend this home and Host.
Cabin was clean but in need of repairs. The cabin was listed for sale and it was very apparent that the maintenance was not being done. The hot tub cover was falling apart. The price was good and it was clean, however, I would probably look elsewhere next time. Host was not overly responsive. Again, it was ok for a quick weekend trip, just no wow factor.
This Cabin would have been ALL 5 STAR if the fan/Light control in the living room was present. We looked everywhere for it and didn't find it. We would have liked better outside lighting as well. All in all though... Those are minor things and this place was beautiful. I would recommend this cabin for sure
Cute little cabin. Had everything we needed while there. Housekeeping could improve but overall it was a good stay.

This property has been neglected for some time now. All the rain gutter is fulled with debris and has trees growing in them. It looked as tho when we rented the property somone came out and replaced rotten board because they were all brand new and not even painted to try and match. There were several broken things on the inside of the cabin like sink sprayer, ceiling fan in living room and multiple light switches that we are sure what they went too. The host of the property was hard to communicate with it took several days to get a responce to an email. The thing that tops it off is I reserved the cabin for one price (paid in full) and a few days later was told that i had to pay almost200 more. Never again will i rent this property or from this host
The cabin was in perfect condition. Only problem was the fitted bottom sheets ion the King size bed didn’t stay on the bed. Little troublesome. Really enjoyed the hot tub.
I rented it for two nights through the first night. The heater did not work much and it was extremely cold in the cabin. I contacted the owner in the evening. I did not get a response till the next day in the morning and by noon they sent someone to fix Missing coffee and auger
Hot Tub doesn't work and place needs cleaning & updated
We come to Broken Bow once a year and it's strictly to get away, relax and enjoy the hot tub. This trip was a first time trip for a family member. The food and places to visit were good but the cabin was a huge disappointment. When we arrived we noticed a for sale sign in front, the hot tub did not work, there was dust everywhere, the place is in need of several repairs or updates. The VRBO piks were nothing as presented. We reached out to owner about hot tub and she supposedly was unaware of the problem. We then asked for a different cabin & they did not have one. We asked for some type of compensation and nothing. If we had known hot tub did not work and place was in this shape we would not have rented it. Location is good but don't waste your time.
We rented this cabin to be compliant with a small budget since it was mostly just to sleep, we came for a birthday party at another cabin down the road. Location is great if you’re coming to explore the tour part town. Although the pictures submitted online for the cabin are outdated, there is no “Blue Aspen” sign on a tree and the fireplace is completely different. There were spiderwebs and dust underneath most furniture. Ashtray was full of cigarettes and some were dumped on the porch. The porch was not swept at all, table and chairs were covered in pollen and tree debris. We had to sweep it ourselves to sit comfortably. I understand it’s one of the cheapest cabins in town but that should never impact your guest experience. Just because your guest chose the smaller/cheaper option doesn’t mean we mind it being dirty. Host communicated only once from the time of booking to the day we were checking in and they did not answer any questions, the bypassed my message of questions and only sent me their written directions then never messaged back. Many buttons on the living room remote tv did not work, most importantly being the select option lol, you have to get up anytime you want to change the channel to do it from the dish box. Which is fine, but it took a while to notice since it was never addressed by the host Kid room tv doesn’t work. Overall very unwanted experience from the hosts.Acceptable ,cheap place if your looking for somewhere to just sleep during vacation.
The cabin was perfect; clean, comfortable, nicely decorated with log cabin style furniture. The hot tub was a selling point for me.

About the host
Hosted by Valerie Austin
Our family lives in Dallas and enjoy relaxing weekend getaways. We love getting in a quick hike, enjoying the wonderful forest views, eating out at local restaurants if we don't feel like firing up the grill. It's family time in the great outdoors.
Why they chose this property
We appreciate the easy access of Beaver's Bend and the beauty of the area. After vacationing there several years ago, we decided it was a great location for us. We throw a cooler in the car, take the dog and Grandma up for the weekend and feel like we have really gotten away. Hiking, driving and exploring the dam and river, sitting outside and just looking at the stars helps us recharge.
