About this property
Flathead River Retreat With Hot Tub!
Summary:
Here in scenic northern Montana, the outdoors are nothing short of breathtaking. It’s where you can enjoy a more relaxed pace to life and truly disconnect yourself from the outside world at your leisure. Hike through pristine forests, raft along clear waters, or simply gaze in awe at the towering peaks of the Rockies – no matter how you choose to spend it, the ultimate wilderness vacation begins right here at Flathead River Retreat in the charming destination of Columbia Falls
The Space:
Set on a large plot of land, peace and privacy are high on the list of desirable features you’ll find here, offering plenty of space for family style yard games and taking quiet strolls along the tree-lined perimeter. If it’s sunshine and fresh air you’re after, you’ll find it up on the picturesque deck or on the lower, shaded patio, sipping on your favorite cocktail or dining on a meal al fresco fresh from the grill. Brew up your morning coffee and stroll about 150 yards down to the shores of the Flathead River, its tranquil sights and sounds carrying all your cares away with the current.
Take the short trip into town for all your shopping and dining needs where you’ll find everything from the essentials to fine dining and favored haunts dishing up fresh local fare. Nature lovers will be awe-struck by the beauty of Glacier National Park, located less than a 30-minute drive from the home. Explore miles of hiking trails that wind through pristine wilderness, marvel at towering peaks and majestic glaciers, and keep an eye out for wildlife such as bears, elk, and mountain goats.
The home’s interior is fit for your crowd, offering plenty of space for everyone to spread out and find their own corner while communal spaces bring you back together for entertainment and connectivity. Soaring, wood-paneled vaulted ceilings create a cozy cabin atmosphere while floor-to-ceiling picture windows illuminate each room in bright, natural light. With two separate living spaces on the main and lower levels, each offering plush sofa seating, smart TVs, and ambient fireplaces, there will never be a need to argue over what to watch. For a quiet place to read or sneak in a quick afternoon nap, the loft has you covered.
The main level’s fully equipped kitchen showcases stainless steel appliances, smooth stone countertops, and natural wood cabinetry stocked with cookware and dining ware for all your mealtime endeavors. The downstairs kitchenette can be used for storage or overflow cooking in the oven and microwave as needed. You’ll find ample dining venues between floors as well, from elegant formal dining for 6 and high-top stools for 5 alongside the main kitchen to a second dining table on the lower level, seating another 6 for meals both large and light.
This home comfortably sleeps 8 guests between 4 private bedrooms, a queen-over-queen bunk bed in the downstairs living room, and a twin size bed in the loft.
Bedroom #1 includes a king size bed, dedicated workspace, and smart TV.
