This was a great place in every respect. The house itself is well designed and comfortable. This furnished as if people actually live there. Location is the best ever. Near Mendocino, but still away from crowds. The views are spectacular. We particularly loved sitting in the hot tub and watching the sunrise. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, and the host was also extremely helpful and accommodating. Altogether, probably the nicest rental property I’ve ever stayed at.

We had an amazing time at Desire. The view is gorgeous, and the house was perfect for our stay. We appreciated having a full kitchen and refrigerator. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic and the hot tub was nice and hot. You can tell the host thinks about their guests, and what they may need. We cannot wait to return!

Absolutely fantastic cabin! Humble and cozy, with all of the amenities you need for a perfect vacation. The view is jaw dropping. We sat for hours just enjoying the tranquility of it all. We will be returning for sure!

Overall it is a wonderful place with a Fantastic view. Falling asleep to the sounds of crashing waves does a tired body good.20 minutes to Mendocino, 30 minutes to Fort Bragg makes it an Ideal spot for sightseeing and enjoying the Splendor of the Mendocino Coast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There were a few cobwebs in the corners, the ocean facing doors do not work as pictured, and there are no ocean views from the hot tub as represented in the listing, but these are minor notes on an overall wonderful week. The location is excellent--quiet and set apart, but near enough to redwoods, towns, and wineries to venture out with ease. We spent hours watching the waves and the sky from the deck. Beautiful!

Quiet getaway

This was a perfect quiet getaway for a few days. A short drive to Mendocino and anything else along the coast. The house was quaint and perfect for a short stay.

Fantastic location

The view from the property was incredible! The house had everything we needed and was in a perfect location for all the activities we wanted to do. It was a little cold in the mornings and we couldn't get the dishwasher to work properly, but other than that, we really enjoyed staying here.
