About this property
Chic beach front studio with fitness room, WiFi, king size bed and scenic patio
This studio in Caymans is perfect for your escape to relaxation. With a fitness room, AC, and WiFi, guests can unwind in comfort. The quaint space offers a brilliant retreat for solo travelers or couples looking for an excellent getaway. Make your holiday one for the books with a stay at Wyndham Reef Resort at Cayman Islands.
There is so much to do and see at the Wyndham reef resort. Located on the beach there are lounge chairs throughout for soaking in the sun. There are three pools, one of which includes water volleyball. There is also a large hot tub to relax in after an active day. There is even a hammock to allow you to nap on the beach. There are activities offered such as poolside yoga, fishing off the long pier, as well as other weekly activities available on the premises. These is a tennis and basketball court on the resort as well as table tennis. There is a large, well equipped fitness room to work off some of the delicious food available on the island. There is both beachside dining as well as indoor dining at the resort including happy hour at the beachside bar. There is also good snorkeling available a short walk from the resort. Your resort fee covers you for beach towels, snorkeling gear, and sporting equipment. Also, on the resort you can rent scuba diving equipment, kayaks, water boards, and even a jet ski. All-inclusive packages are available for a variety of diving options or other excursions as well as all-inclusive dining.
You can rent a vehicle at the airport or there is shuttle service available upon request. Inquire at Guest relations, at the resort, about shuttle or taxi service. The advantage of having your own vehicle is to be able to explore the multitude of beaches, historic sites, shopping areas, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. on your own.
The resort offers a multitude of guided tours such as group snorkeling and scuba diving at some of the best locations on the island. There is a romantic evening kayak trip for example where you can explore small sea creatures that illuminate at night. There are other excursions where you can witness or even swim amongst the dolphins or a night excursion where you can witness giant stingrays that will swim up to you. Off the water you can explore caves where you can witness various rock formations as well as a tropical garden to witness beautiful plants as well as large iguanas and other creatures that inhabit the island. There is just so much to do and explore on the island or you can just relax on the beach. It's all up to you!
December is a perfect time to visit the Caymans. It is after the hurricane season, so no concerns there. The water is warm year- round so perfect for relaxing in the beach or one of the pools. It is a safe island so it's great for long walks in the warm night air. There are some trails located on the island to explore. During the day, you can take a ride on a bicycle, which are available at the resort. Personally, we really enjoy the pools and hot tub after a day of adventure.
The restaurants on the resort serve it all. From fresh seafood, delicious barbeque, fresh fruits and vegetables and refreshing tropical drinks. There are several restaurants a short drive away where you can get the local cuisine, Italian, Mexican/Spanish, etc. Also, there is small grocery store across from the resort as well as a breakfast cafe and a Subway.
Renter is required to pay all taxes and fees due upon check out which include a resort fee of approximately $175
