We had a great time. Home was beautiful. We loved all the space for family to spread about and kids to run around. We would definitely rent here again.
The space was lovely, modern, and clean! We have a big family and there was ample space for us all to eat, sleep, and have privacy. The outdoor area was used—the fire pit, hot tub, and huge yard—and it felt very private. Tim was very responsive. We’re ready to book another trip back!
Absolutely wonderful home located right across the road from Warren Dunes. The home sits back from the road with a secluded lot and a private backyard complete with grill, fire pit, table with chairs and hot tub. There is so much room for everyone and everything is there for your stay to be amazing. The host was fantastic and helpful. We loved having the hot tub to come back to after the beach and plenty of food options with in 15/20 minutes of the house. With six bedrooms this house sleep comfortably the number it list without having anyone sleep on a pull out couch. Next time my family / friend are in the area we will be back.
Great location. Outside property, was extremely spacious, plenty of room for lawn games, very private. Though the out side of house had lots of cobwebs, spider webs in outside windows & right by both door entrances. Not a great first impression. All it needed was a quick swipe of a broom. Inside of house was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was generously stocked with small appliances and paper, storage and cleaning supply's. Open and spacious on inside. Nicely decorated. The 6 bedrooms are a definite plus, though this is a message for the Owner, the back 3 bedrooms need flooring, Concrete Floors, you can do better. Misleading In the picture the floors looks like dark speckled flooring. A welcome booklet would help for exiting instructions. The price is excellent, all and all with those suggestions, it is a great place to stay.
Very pleased with property location, finishes and overall features for both use and enjoyment. Hot tub was a real addition to the property! Very well stocked with items for the stay such as towels and kitchen items. Fire pit was used and appreciated the provision of fire wood. Beds were comfortable and as described. Might want to consider adding some door stops to baseboards and possibly some anti-slip features to the many rugs on site. Appliances and stoneware for meals was a nice feature as well. Overall a really excellent property with great access to The Dunes for beach and climbing fun. Consider this property for moderately large family/friend gathering. You will not be disappointed.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay. We had alot of space and the outdoor areas were useful, especially the hot tub and firepit.Everything we needed in the kitchen and outdoors was made available, indoors and out.The king and queen beds were comfortable, less so with the twin beds.We loved the location (there is some noise from highway). It was close to the Warren Dunes State Park and easy access to stores. The 3 smaller bedrooms were not as cool during our very hot stay so some of our family was not as comfortable while sleeping. The housekeeping could be improved. Sweeping, particularly under beds and in the corners of the rooms, is needed. The floors of the shower need serious scrubbing. I wore flip flops. Finally, we had to unload an overloaded dryer, run dryer again since many towels were wet or damp, then fold them. The washer with sheets and bedspread had stopped during the cycle due to being overloaded, so we had to do this load of laundry. It took quite a bit of our first evening to attend to the laundry.
Very nicely renovated and equipped house for bigger group. Super close to the beach and all local shops and restaurants. Nice backyard with hot tub and plenty of room around the house with privacy. Really enjoyed the stay and highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time here! A few highlights and suggestions to share:Pros:•The host was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay.•The home is furnished with all new pieces, which made it feel fresh and comfortable.•The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials for cooking.•Plenty of bath and beach towels provided, along with beach chairs—such a thoughtful touch.•We loved relaxing in the hot tub and gathering around the fire pit in the evenings.Cons:•There are only two bathrooms, which can be a bit limiting for larger groups.•Some of the bed sheets had a slight mildew smell.Suggestions:•A more thorough mopping of the floors between stays would make a big difference.•Avoid overloading the washer/dryer so that laundry gets properly cleaned and dried.•If possible, adding a third bathroom in the future would be a great upgrade.
The property is very nice, very spacious, and comes with anything you may need. However, the property could use a thorough cleaning. The floors and bathrooms had a lot of hair left from the prior guests. The location is great. Very close to the dunes, and short drive to many other attractions.Additionally, when we arrived to check-in shortly after the scheduled check-in time, the cleaners were still there and then arrived several hours before check-out and sat in the driveway until we left.
Rental has potential. There is plenty of room for a large family with ample space. Very nice kitchen, appliances are new and all kitchen utensils, plates, cups, glasses are good quality. The towels throughout the house are great with plenty of them. However, the house was not clean, evidenced by socks getting dirty just walking on floors and dusty shelving. The house is damp and musty, possibly from the concrete in basement being wet. Other observations, bedroom doors do not close, a bathroom fan that does not work, uneven flooring, back bedrooms are cold with rough cracked concrete floors, ant hills are coming through the cracked cement, crickets at night in these bedrooms, outdoor table has tall weeds/brush covering half of it, no basic house instructions. The house had a plumbing issue on day two. One bathroom became unusable, no shower, no toilet. Two bathrooms would make it a challenge for a large group and on our second day we had one. The Host responded quickly. He did what he could to have repairs made. The plumbing issues were repaired but the plumbers had spilled raw sewage in the basement and even tracked it through the house. The smell was nauseating. The host had cleaners come to sanitize and clean up the house. They arrived and asked me what needs to be sanitized. My family’s health and wellbeing are very important to me, so we decided to leave and not to stay for the three nights we paid for.I would not recommend this house to anyone.
