We absolutely loved staying at Barbara’s home! Not only were they incredible hosts and very communicative, but the house was also beautifully appointed and so comfortable for a large group. We enjoyed the small touches like the bathrobes, fresh wildflowers and games for the kids. The beds were very comfortable as well. We would absolutely recommend the home to others!

We rented this property for a family wedding. Barbara was the perfect host. She was very responsive and helpful. She answered all of our questions about the property and made recommendations of places to go and things to see in the town.The property is lovely and easily accommodated our family of 8. The house was full of old time charm but with modern amenities and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

We had a wonderful stay with a large group. The house was spacious, clean and very well equipped. The kids had a blast with the provided games, back yard and such easy access to the playground and beach. The adults loved cooking and hanging out together and having enough room at the dining room table for everyone. We would highly recommend to anyone.

We could not have been happier with our stay! The accommodations were spacious, welcoming, and brimming with New England charm. Our family, adults and kids alike, felt the house to be the perfect vacation home, walking distance to Crystal Lake and Long Lake. Our expectations were more than exceeded from the moment we got there, through the moment we returned (our host realized our daughter left a stuffed unicorn behind, and they mailed it to her within days of discovering it). We highly recommend booking this home for your next vacation.

Great stay

We had a great stay! Location was perfect, in between the two lakes. House had everything you could think of needing, plenty of space, great kitchen. Couldn’t ask for a better place, we will stay again only longer next time

Great stay! Fantastic house for big group of family! We were in the area for a wedding nearby, and it was perfect for us. Would consider again for a family get together when the weather is warmer and enjoy the beach and the lake!

Always a great time staying here. Just had our 3rd visit. Plenty of room to bring friends and/or family. They have pretty much everything you need at the house. Barbara is very communicative and available if needed.

A showpiece house in a great location

We had a wonderful week at your home. Our grandchildren loved having the playground and beach so close by each other. We have been in many VRBOs and we all agreed yours was the best stocked and most comfortables place we have stayed in. It was great to take a stroll into town for ice cream too! This Harrison home was the perfect spot for our 50th anniversary celebration with our family of 14. The house was built in 1840 and has so much New England charm and an interesting history. It has been completely renovated, is spotlessly clean, has a beautiful modern kitchen, and a large expansive yard with a lawn, which was perfect for cornhole, football, baseball, and other games. Our 4 teenage grandkids loved the fully air conditioned 3rd floor loft. And we all enjoyed backing up to beautiful Crystal Lake. It was so much fun for all ages, including our 3, 5, and 6 year old grandkids who had a blast swimming and jumping off the dock, as well as playing in the playground.. The house has a lot of privacy so we never needed to worry about making too much noise late at night. We were minutes walking distance from Long Lake and several great restaurants, including Millie's and the Old Mill Tavern. The Creamery was a treat for the kids. The Tie Up Market in town was very handy too. Barbara was a delight to deal with and deserves an A for the way she runs her business. She was immediately responsive to any question or need which arose. We can’t say enough good things about our experience renting Barbara and Ron’s home. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, including beach chairs and toys. Our family members traveled from California and Montana and definitely hope to return someday. We highly recommend this rental.
